Well over the past 2-3 days Ive been working on the Jeep Re painting the wheels, installing Riddler D30 diff cover, ORO Plate Light w/3rd Brake light, and a PSC Tramp Stamp. And with the help of Kyle(Kyle_Craig) I got every thing all finished up today and ready for the re gear tomorrow.

The box of parts that I got thanks to Jason @ Krawl Offroad!

Here is a picture of one of the wheels I painted. I wanted something a bit different then the plain ol black soft 8's. Since Im using red as an accent color I painted the back of the rim red so it poke through, but not be too overwhelming.

Heres the Riddler diff cover, painted and installed

And heres Kyle drilling holes in the tailgate so that the rivets holding on the ORO Plate Light and license plate would sit flush when it was on the tramp stamp and bolted up to the Jeep.

And the finished product

Also as a side note, I made a template out of cardboard and drilled holes in the tramp stamp so it would bolt up with the bolts from the stock tire carrier, instead of riveting it to the Jeep

Now with that work out of the way she is ready to go get sleeves in the D30 and 5.13's tomorrow!

Ok well after a few days, I got her back from IRO and with 5.13's and sleeves in the front. All I can say is d***. Huge difference, it barely ever down shifts on the highway any more and has quite a bit more power from what I can tell. But Im still on the break in process, so no wheeling for me for a little bit

Well, I finally got a few things that the Jeep needed, a soft top and new tires. I got the Pavement ends Sun Cap Plus and Im currently waiting for the cargo cover to show up. As for tires I went with Goodyear MT/R's, Ive only had them on for about 40 miles, but I love them so far. And I got them balanced with Dyna Beads, so no more worrying about wheel weights falling off! On to a few pics...

When the tires just got delivered

Waiting to get them mounted at the local tire shop

They had to snap the lug to get the tire off, looks like I get to replace lugs in the rear on both sides

and heres a pic from this afternoon

Well I guess I should do a little update. Im now back in CO and since none of us had been wheeling in a while we decided it would be a good idea to go run a few trails. We ran Holy Cross the first day, then we drive down to Buena Vista to run Chinaman Gulch in the morning. Here are some pics

Black jeep club haha

Our friends Rubi, only has a 2.5" BB, did very well even with the rear locker working intermittently

Kyle doing a wheelstand

I unfortunately didnt make it up this obstacle without help this year, so I had to get winched up a little bit of it and my muffler fell off in the process haha

Our buddies ranger, he stayed up late the night before to some what finish his tube bed and get the truck ready for the trails

It started raining when we were about to go up French Creek, it made things pretty interesting

Kyle going up French Creek in the rain

While waiting for some rigs with impatient drivers to come down we noticed that Kyle bent his tub and slider and he was only half way through

Finally made it up to the city after spending 3-4 hours at French Creek. We drove up to Cleveland Rock, just to check it out.

After getting back down the trail, I got separated from the group and took a wrong turn (dumb mistake) which sent me up to the reservoir 3 miles away from where everybody else was. So just a reminder to people who are going to run Holy Cross, go left! haha. But after we got that all figured out, we decided we should drive to BV that night rather than in the morning. So when we got down to BV the "No stopping next 1 mile, Colorado Correctional Facility Property" sign threw us off and had us driving in circles for a while. But we finally made it to the camp site, which was located right next to the prison's farm haha. Here are some pics from Chinaman Gulch

Messed up one of my rear door hinges on this line and now my driver rear door doesnt shut properly haha

Kyle attempting Whales Tale

The Rubi high centered and dug in pretty well. Took a lot of winching to get it out

Well I hope you all enjoyed the pics!
