The Silver Bullet

This past summer I purchased my first Jeep, a 2005 TJ Rocky Mountain edition. I bought it with 27,000 and having never owned a Jeep or 4x4. After having it for about a month I went on a newbie run with the local club (Great Lakes Jeep Thing). They starting calling me/my jeep the Silver Bullet and the name stuck. Below is a chronology from day 1 until today.

The first day I bought the Bullet:

Next, bought a Safari top and toneau cover:

Now, a few pics from the Newbie run:

After going on the run, I was addicted and decided to add some more clearance. I purchased a Rough Country 2.5" SL and 1.25" BL. I was able to use the shop at the high school my dad works at.

Here we are on the lift:

Now the lift up in the air:

And now shocks and springs installed:

And now after the lift:

Wow, I couldn't help but start laughing when I saw the title for this thread... Anybody else who's been in the Marine Corps will know why...

Update with a few pics with the new tires. As for the chrome question, yes and no. Im looking for some off-road bumpers and rock sliders but not sure what colors. I dont mind taking care of the chrome, and I dont wheel a whole lot (lack of places to do it mostly).

Personally, I kind of like the chrome. I think on a Silver Jeep like yours, it's a good look. Only clean of course. Dirty it looks like ***.

Although I don't exactly care so much for the side steps...but they act as good rock rails!

Nice looking Jeep, I bought the same thing this past summer! I've got the same lift too! Keep up the good work!
