Ordered some 17 inch steel wheels today. 90 bucks a pop. Should be here by the end of the week and the 37's should be going on shortly after.

Going on the Clemson4Wheel poker run next Saturday and will be bringing my Jeep back to Irmo. I plan to bring the rear corner guards back with me as well, get those on the jeep before too long. Also once the jeep gets back in Irmo I will be putting 2.5 inch rough country coils on it and doing the barnes rear spring relocators.

After all that is complete i'll probably buy a grizzly locker for the 8.8 and work on getting hydro assist under there. I'm going to try to drill and tap my current box and mount a hydraulic ram. But if that doesn't work then i'll probably sucker up and get a psc box. Y'all stay tuned, hope to get a lot of work done this summer since i don't gotta drive it every day.

The late model Mercedes box is no good for doing hydro assist. You either need to convert to a Durango box (you have to change the location of one of the 3 bolt holes) or go straight to the psc box.

I know the Mercedes box sucks a$$ but can you explain why it's no good? Serious question. I was thinking about have West Texas Offroad rebuild my box and port it for hydro assist.

Flatlander did it to his and it seemed to work fine for him...

Anyways here is a pic of the jeep on 37s. Supposively everything clears but it's real tight. Well see when I look at it next weekend.

I've read that because of where you have to tap into the box there is too much flow and it makes your steering feel very light on the road. That's just what I've read though. I guess it won't hurt anything to try it.

The tires look killer on there. Say goodbye to those u joints!

You really need to hurry up and get your corners installed.

Jeep looks good on 37's, better save up for spares or go easy on the right foot
