So im still a rookie at this whole engine thing, so can somebody tell me whats the big difference between these motor mounts? To me it looks like the Novak ones are more adjustable...

I am no expert but I see nothing wrong with the advanced adapter mounts they are both adjustable novak is just a little more, but at $70 more than AA I would go the AA route. I plan to make mine using the grand cherokee mounts and some 1/4 steel. One thing with your durango motor if I were you I would switch over to the grand cherokee power steering mount Durango and Ram pushed it so far out there that it will interfere with your steering shaft. The cherokee one sucks it in up close to the motor, just some food for thought.

Keep it simple (and cheaper) and go with AA.

x2 on this. I couldn't even get the motor to fit with the Dodge power steering pump hitting the frame. It was necessary to go with a cherokee pump and mounting bracket in my case.

Do I need to swap the pump also or can I just snag a bracket?

Here is s shot of my cherokee pump. Hope this helps if not you could always call auto parts store and ask if they have they share same part number. Mine needs a new reservoir the po broke off the return nipple pulling the motor out.

Hmmm good question. I can't remember what the old pump had for mounting holes. Give me till this evening and I'll look at my setup. Seems like the cherokee pump mounts to a small bracket that mounts to the right side head.
