The first thing I have done to it so far is redid the tub with a better liner. I went with herculiner.

Hers some pics of the process.

Stripped the interior and pressure washed it off. soon to realize It didnt have a seat to drive it back in the garage.

Stripped, sanded and sprayed xylene all over to clean the surface even more. got it masked off and used ear plugs to plug the bolt holes.

After two coats and letting it dry

I also had a Smittybilt soft top that I recently had to replace... Well Smittybilt sent me a replacement for free! lol Had a zipper on the rear window break and made it flop around pretty bad.

So I now have some 33x12.50 Pro Comp Xterrain tires on the Jeep now. They seem to be great in the snow and as with most aggressive tires crappy on the ice but that just makes for fun driving. Haven't done much else with it lately, Id really like to fix my front fenders that the PO jacked up. Looking into the Poison Spyder ones just gotta come up with the cash.

This is on my drive to my hunting hole. Enjoy!

And a decent day shooting.

Finally found a family style roll bar locally. It was a guy thats just going to add on to his cage anyway so he didnt mind the sport style. It came in this really good looking blue but that would look awful with my black so I painted it. I also scored a back seat from him. Seems like these simple things are near impossible to find around here.

Here is some pics of the process.
The bar when I picked it up.

Heep looks kind of cool with no bar.

painted and installed.
I also went ahead and replaced all my

hardware with grade 8 hex heads.

Ok! Now that this is caught up to my old thread heres the low down.

So recently my wife and I were out on some trails and the return spring to my throttle broke causing my engine to redline for a short time... When I was able to jimmy rig the spring I started the jeep back up and it had a nasty knock to it. We did make it home and I took it to a family friend to check it out. He called me today and said Id need to rebuild the engine or replace. SO here we are, a V8 swap is now in affect. This is going to take some time to do but it will happen. Im looking for a 5.2 to swap in it.

Oh and BTW if it wasnt for SPARROWS talking me into it id probably still be thinking about what I should do. I was going to sell it and start over have decided to keep and build.

I think it was a 98 and they took a little work to get them bolted up. The hardest part was to get the stock rails apart but other than that they bolted right up.
