Section builds by model?

Is it possible to section all the build threads by model? I think it would get a lot more traffic that way. I also feel it would be a much more efficient way to see others builds of your own model to get good ideas off of. Most people used to have their build thread in a model specific tech forum. What say ye?

How many different sections would be required, and how would we get the 12,000 build threads we already have sorted into the sections?

I would do the most popular. CJ/YJ/TJ/JK under Wranglers. Then the cherokee ones for the WJ/XJ/WK/Grand and whatever else.

Transfer the ones to the desired sections that have been updated this year. May take a bit. The ones that haven't been updated, leave in misc. jeep builds until someone updates it or requests a move.

How about enabling post icons like we have for PMs so you can add a tag for your model? Leave it up to the thread owners to update and add the post icon on their thread.

As BRC said. Let those request. We had to do that when our build threads got migrated from the tech forums. I really think model sections should be ordered together (tech, build etc). Jeep models even between Wranglers are like completely different vehicles. There are things that yj guys know about building a leaf spring set up that TJ guys would have no clue and visa versa. Not to mention common problems. It's like a completely different but same world.

How was that for philosophical? Haha
