I got my tire carrier from 4Wheel parts over a week ago. Opened the hardware last weekend to find out they only send me one support bracket. Been on the phone ever since with smittybuilt and it seems ill never get it. The guy I spoke too said they'll have to take one from an old bumper and send it to me?....good customer service. I even offered to purchase a whole new hardware set but was told they've been discontinued. Sounds fishy. I was told I would be called by the end of the work day today by them with a status update.

Finally got word from Smittybilt. They are shipping the hardware I need tomorrow. Should be here later this week.

Got the reinforcement bracket last week sometime but havent really been able to put the bumper on. Between working and going on vacation for 4 days working on the jeep isn't a priority at the moment. It did however just complete a 300 mile round trip to the shore last weekend which I am pleased to announce it ran great.

Welp I finally decided to get something jeep related done today. These past weeks have been crazy due to vacations and work. You guys remember that bumper I ordered months ago? Well I finally decided to install it today. I'll post a pic later since I'm on my phone and the mobile app is dumb..

Thank you sir. It seems the app was better when you could upload the pics straight from your phone. Seems those days are over...

My last wheeling trip I dipped down into a larger than normal puddle whacked my steering box pretty good. To prevent that I ordered one of these....

Should be here Saturday. Unfortunately I will be at the shore for the weekend for a 21st birthday bash/drinkfest . Im hopeful to have it installed next week sometime though.

Was able to get the PSC steering box skid plate installed tonight. Pretty simple install and with some finagling got it to fit like a glove..

I guess its time to update this thread. It was my birthday last week and my gf decided it was time my jeep got a winch. Bought me the Superwinch LP8500 from qtec. Turned out it was on sale. I bought the winch plate to accompany it to my house. Looks pretty good on there

I got home from NYC yesterday mid-afternoon so I decided to throw the front boomerang shackles on the front. Took about 45 mins. I like the look a lot now that the rake is gone..

Thanks buddy. Just trying to keep this thread updated with my progress. The lack of wheeling pics is unacceptable ha

Small Update from today:

Was able to fully remove the rear trackbar. Since the 8.8 I just unbolted the axle side and let it hang there. So thats gone for good now.

Found someone to regear my jeep for a reasonable price. I'll be making the jump to 4.88s by the end of the month if all goes as planned.

Appointment to regear is set for November 1st. Also ordered a solid diff cover for the d30 to match the rear.
