Nice Jeep! I might have missed it, but what happened to your passenger side mirror?

the cj style one?

it went to a friend so he could go doorless too, im nice like that

i kept the stock one and put it back on the passenger side, that way I have one for when I need it on the highway, but when im doorless it doesn't really matter

thanks for the compliments

What was that I was reading about ditching the Z Gate and puttin a knob on? Pics please and how you did it and what advantages does it have besides not having that dumb Z gate pattern?

Cool, back on the topic of the mirrors, how do you like them? Do they stay still or do they vibrate out of place? Do you have to view the passenger side through the windshield like you do on CJ's? I really like the mirrors, and my mirror mounts are shot, so if they are decent I will buy a pair...

I liked it because that lever always seemed to get in the way, now theres just a lil knob there

4-lo

neutral

I just cut off the old lever, drilled my knob out to 7/16 and pushed it on with alot of force and turning

I did not use the passenger side like that, I could never get it positioned perfect so I had to bring it really close to the door so I could see it through the window. This worked fairly well, but you couldnt open the passenger door very far, or you would knock the mirror out of position.

they also vibrate like no other, and whistle

in short, they aren't perfect, but for the drivers side, they are by far the best permanent and cheap solution I have found thus far.

just won a used tummy tuck on ebay for 55 bucks, plus 83 dollars shipping haha

its 1/4" plate, and looks alot like a skyjacker setup. I'm excited. That saved some serious coin!

diggin this build. probably the rock crawling thing lol. we don't get much of that in Ohio. mostly hills creeks and lots of mud, which means you constantly get crap in your eyes when you wrench lol.

also i agree on the tummy tuck, i usually get hung up on my skid not loose traction. then again i'm sagged as hell lol.
