Sahara Tan TJ Build "1tonlsjeep"

Started my build about 2 years ago on my 1997 2.5L 5 Speed TJ.

It was in very rough shape.

I was going to start a build progress then but wanted to wait till the real fun started happening.

Short List of Plans for the Jeep:
5.3L Chevy V8 with 4L60E, Dana 60 Front/ Corporate 14 Rear/ Atlas / Low COG/ Coilovers

To get a jumpstart on my build, follow me on instagram https://www.instagram.com/1tonlsjeep/

The day I brought it home.

The rubicon will be gone to help fund the 97.

The Jeep was in very rough shape.

I picked up a set of 03-06 TJ Seats to replace the nasty ones that were in there.

Changed out the cowl to a 03-06 version.

The 97-02 were prone to leaking!

I tore the engine down and replaced most of the parts. New reworked heads, all new accessories, seals, injectors, etc.

The block was the only thing I left untouched.

Ordered a 05/06 TJ Fuel Pump, this should get me to the PSI required for the LS Swap.

Also mocked up a shifter bracket for my Art Carr Sidewinder Shifter.
