Sahara Tan TJ '97

Just back from paint, actually I pick her up tonight. It's been a few years since I've posted anything here, but about three years ago my TJ was rear ended, pushed into my XJ, and both totaled. I bought the TJ back from insurance and used the money from the XJ to start up grading. I have a metalcloak front winch bumper and body armor rear bumper with spare carrier for the rear. They are both being sprayed with color matched bedliner, as are the rocker guards, light mounts and mirror relocation brackets. I've seen a few color matched sahara tan JKUs and fell in love with the look.

Only one picture so far, but there will be plenty more once I get her back home.

Something looks a bit off on the paintjob... Maybe because there's no decals at all to break up the color?

Thanks I love the color too. It's definitely a sea of tan right now. I have a set of Willys decals in OD green coming that should help break it up a bit.

I think the color looks great on the TJ. I can't even remember my jeep ever being that shiny. I am interested to see how the bumpers and guards look once mounted up.

It will be a few weeks before I have the rocker guards sand blasted and ready to spray. I decided I didn't want to drive around without bumpers that long, so I installed them back this weekend. I really like them in black, I may leave them when I spray the rockers.
