I'm Curt The snow hasn't been much fun, I'm plowing at my new job now. I have been in the drivers seat of my truck for 51 hours since the snow started on Monday. Not much of a chance to play around in the Jeep.

When I installed my Bilsteins, My tailpipe was hitting the shock body. Today I chopped the tailpipe off and welded a downpipe straight to the muffler.

Any difference in sound? I may do that if I need clearance for anything. Although I'd turn it side ways so it doesn't blow in the dirt.

Mine is slightly to the side. There is quite a difference in sound though. I have an aftermarket Magnaflow on mine, so it actually gives it a nice throaty sound. A lot more noise in the cab though. Since it isn't my DD I'm not entirely worried.

Got some stuff done the past couple days, new track bar bushing, and I tore out the rear inner wheel wells. Nothing was painted behind the wheel wells, so I primed and painted them.

Big plan for this winter is outboarding the rear shocks, and making front shock mounts taller, and I'm going to be looking at some longer shocks, possibly Bilstein 7100's, and since I will have access to a bender, the cage may be getting some reinforcement as well.

Im thinking about doing the same with my shocks, I still got those rough country ones that you sold me that dont fit. What are your plans for the outboard in the rear if you plan to stretch later on?

Outboarding the rear won't effect a stretch in the future.
