Thanks mike!

Everyone will like my new spare mounts too. That's right two. One for wheelin in the cab with spare hub assemby, and a rear stringer for DD use. The one in the cab will be similar to a CO hoop and bar across the engine (removable) so it will be a similar design. That is first up on the list.

Picking up a 10 pound spool of wire and fresh tank of as after work tomorrow.

Stay tuned, cage will be all burned in by tomorrow night.

Got the c pillar brace tacked. The reason it's so far forword is to ensure the top will fit. The rampage that is. I might be wrong on this one.

Thoughts?

Picked up a welding blanket. 6x8. It will be very useful in welding in the cage additions with out taking it out again. And for painting lol.

OME light duty 2 inch coils are on the way. Hopefully by the weekend but we will see.

Kore 4x4 ignored my email at least for today. Try again tomorrow.

The b to c pillars are all burned in, and rear spreader. Made the b to c spreader and got one tacked how I like it. THEN I go for the other piece and the ***** was short! I messed up but glad I did because at least one is right and not two short ones. O well. Seeing if anyone around town has a scrap 24 or more inch piece of D.O.M. and get the other made. I like the look and it's simple. Lines follow front speakers.

Going to make spreader braces instead with the short piece.

Can you take a couple of pics underneath where you welded the new crossmember to the frame? Thanks.

Here is one. Going to take 2x4 and cut triangles out of it and gusset it. This will strengthen it considerable. I have been high lifting the frame up from the back, no movement. It will be so much stronger once I'm done

I'm digging the cage design James, I like that it resembles the poly cage but with some triangulation up front.

Thanks. The front was done last fall so I'm modeling the rear after it. Problem is I get carried away so another piece of DOM is being picked up today. I want to get the cage finished by tomorrow, finish painting, and IF THE NEW COILS SHOW UP. I will try and wheel Saturday. That is a big ****ing if. I like 4x4 group buy, but everything is drop shipped, so who the hell knows.
