Edit: Here is a little background about myself.
I got my first jeep when I was 15 which was a 93 yj. I had fun building it a little bit and thrashing the hel out of it. After a few years of driving it, I got a motorcycle so my jeep kinda was put in the shadows. When I was 17 I got another truck which became my DD. I didnt really ever drive my jeep so i decided to park it in the garage while I was off at college. After a few months of being on my own, I managed to total my motorcycle. After driving my truck for awhile;I decided it was time to get another jeep. My search began and shortly after it started I found this rubicon. I am now 20 and a junior(about to be a senior in a few weeks) at Sam Houston University which makes me semi poor lol so when I get a large amount of money(financial aid) it goes to the heep hah. I am excited to build this tj and see what its capabilites are gonna be after its finished(if its ever finished). Here is my rubi at the dealership. The bottom pic the old yj. |

Well me and a friend finally got the suspension put on in our apartment parking lot. The 3" SA currie suspension I got through savvy along with the HD system is freaking awesome.

Nice Jeep. What were the specs on the yj?

I havn't really kept up with the build becuase it is really slow. Just thought I would update this a little bit.
Finally got the complete lift on. All UCA's are on and the anti rock is installed. It drives a whole lot smoother than it did before. We also got rid of my TC drop; it feels so much better not having to worry about the TC being dropped 2 inches! I think a Novak cable shifter is a must tho...I want my shifting to be smooth. I now have the cb mounted on my drivers side dash using the rugged ridge cb mount. Im thinking about geting the overhead storage/cb mount. My future mod plans are either the Savvy UA, metal cloak high clearance fenders, metal cloak rockers, metal cloak corner armor and hopefully the rear bumper. I have the swag offroad drop down tailgate on the christams list along with a Tom's cv shaft. I have been reading some of the builds on here which is giving me tons of inspiration and ideas! What do you guys think about getting a programmer of some sort to fix my shift points since I have up graded to 33's? |
