Pics if it polished with the foglights.

And a pic of the solinoid. Sorry it's a crappy one. I'll get a better one later today.

Thanks, The wheels are the stock canyons with 1.25" spacers.

Polishing is pretty easy, You get the surface as smooth as possible and then apply some polish. In some cases you might have to start with something as low as 180 or 240 grit and then work your way up to somewhere around 1200 or more. The higher grit sandpaper you use and the smoother you get the closer to a mirror finish you will get. After you finish sanding, clean the surface, and then apply the polish. Every polish I have used requires you to use a damp rag and work the polish in until it turns black, then with a clean rag wipe the surface clean.

For this bumper I just sanded it with 600 grit wetsand and then applied the polish. For the bumper and the rocker guards I used 600, and mothers aluminum polish.

The Bumper was about 330 shipped, savvy has a 10% off coupon rite now.

I didnt have to extend any wires, I got lucky and mounted the solinoid with an existing bolt hole and had enough wire to reach the winch. I do plan on running some wires to have winch controls in cab.

I'm definitely putting the solenoid under the hood now, when you get a chance could you get a better pic though?

Came home today and found this sitting at the door.
Undercover fabworks aluminum skid. I got the body lift version but I'm going to try it without the body lift. I just have to wait for the currie adjustable arms and advanced adapters sye to come in. I'm contimplating wether I want to sand this down and polish it like I did with the rocker guards and bumper.

Went out and got some wheeling in yesterday. I scraped up the savvy bumper on a rock.. Nice gouge in it, Im surprised, because I thought they were lower quality, that the rocker guards didnt get a dent in them. I brought them down on a few rocks, I had to try all day to bring them down on something, theres alot of extra clearance there vs the stock steps.

Those are going to look too good, can't wait to see them on, excellent choice on painting them and keeping the sahara theme.

i like your build, you made some very expensive choices and i dig it all, great work, i love how you left the rocker guards and bumper polished, i hope you left the skid polished too, i think it would look great your the only guy doing this, looks really good.

Nothing yet was really expensive. Tires were the same price as other 35's. Rockers were under 300, bumper was 330 shipped, winch was $430, skid was 300, sye and upper arms was just over 400 shipped and tom woods shaft was 125, then the lift was 299? The only really expensive part was the fenders but those weren't really too bad 830 shipped with the discount they are running. Nothing close yet to what some people spend on their jeeps and I'm pretty close to done with the big mods.

Thanks for the compliments. I'm really looking foreward to installing these.
