Daystar shock stops came in today. Glad I was still able to find a set. Spent about an hour to get them on because I was too stubborn to buy the little tool. truth is you don't need it unless your doing a lot of them.

Got the shocks installed today. I noticed that my front mounted shock (right side) has less up travel then the rear mounted shock (left side). after some investigation I noticed that when the high clearance shock mounts where installed they were mounted flat with the pinion and with the pinion rocked back the rear mounted one is lower then the front. Went by foothills and talked to the guy there and he said he could roll the front one down a little or just install TJ style shock mounts. Im just going to let them figure it out next week and while they have it just have him fix the breather nipple as well.

Took the Jeep to Foothills 4x4 today to get the shock mount moved. While they had it they moved the breather nipple. I also broke down and ordered the frame stiffeners, went with H.D. Engineering. Going to try and install them the week after next, though we'll see.

Frame stiffeners came in today. Will probably get to them next week. Hopefully will have them on and ready for Uwharrie.

Yeah I can't wait to get them on.. I am a little nervous about it but that will get dealt with when I actually go to install them.

I know .. I need to get some sooner than later, before I do a slider. Its just getting all that undercoating off that sounds like a huge pain in the @$$. Have to keep us posted on how this goes. I think when I do mine, I'm going to drill a few holes and bolt them in first and bolt them in, with some big washers on the inside to help distribute the weight. Then weld the rest, so it will be bolted though and welded, which will also make it easier for install. I'm going to go with the same stiffener as you.

If you have a simple floor jack it will save you a lot of time and effort then drilling holes and bolting it on

I think you have to use one.. You have to bolt them in then jack it up until they are bent to fit nice and and tight .. then weld them in
