Found some Lebaron Hood Vents, Finally.. Went out to the junk yard yesterday to get some things for my manche and found a mildly built XJ pulled some decent 32" BFG KMs and steelies that I sold for a profit. Went back with a friend today to pull some more stuff off of it and most of it was already gone except the hood vents.. Got them for 20 bucks so I'm happy.





The rims and tires after I had them dismounted

Got the hood vents in today.. Got bored pretty much, drank a few beers and went to cutting lol I think it turned out pretty good, Im pleased.

Ordered a new transmission mount yesterday.. Went with a poly mount this time since I've already broke a rubber mount I put in almost 6 months ago.. Will also be ordering the parts for my stretch sometime at the end of the month. Was also able to find some decent winch line laying around my buddy's shop he let me have so I can put off getting synthetic for a little bit longer..

Got my new transmission mount and installed it yesterday.. Turns out thats not what was popping I think its the main eye bushing in the leaf springs.. Though Im not touching them anytime soon, just going to deal with it. Also converted my front door hinges to 3/8s. Made all the difference. Did both my full and half doors. Finishing the half doors will probably be a small winter project to get them ready for next spring and summer..

Just ordered my shock tubes and lower shock tabs.. Still need to order the rear frame stiffeners which I'll probably do in the next week or two. Then I'll start breaking her down and getting it done. Hopefully will have it all done before november.

Stumbled upon my new project today. Saw on it craigslist for $40 and couldn't pass it up. Gonna rebuild it over the summer and install it as next winter's project. Still not sure what exactly Im going to do it.. Want to put some 4:1 gears in it but not sure if I'm going to double yet or not...

Shock mounts came in today.. Didn't realize that the hoops were shipped separately so they should be here tomorrow or Thursday..

Shock hoops came in today! Cant wait to get them installed! Will probably order the frame stiffeners sometime this coming week.

Off topic but is that some ammo in that wood case I spy behind that transfer case lol. Loving the build by the way man. Keep up the solid work.
