drilling the perch seems to be the best idea, but i think i might use the stock U bolts and plate until i make or buy new ones. my lift has been a headache for me and then make matters worse my wife's TJ has no working brakes lol

well been trying to recover from the lift.. tried my dad's 33s on for size while he is out of town.. started to hear some sound in the rear axle shortly after the lift was installed.. pulled the cover to see what would fall out and nothing did.. confused me a little but I'll figure it out.. I did however found another good use for the rock lights when working in the dark

Oh and a little something I was working on at work last week

While I had the cover off I decided to paint it to match the front one. I am still confused about my axle. I am starting to think it might be a pinion bearing. I really hope not, but if so I will probably not be fixing it and just upgrading to a 44 or 8.8 or pulling another 8.25 from my local you-pick-it lot and throwing it under. Really hope I can find a XJ 44 sometime soon but with my luck I doubt it.

Messing around a little
