The caps don't do anything for the structure. I didn't want them. I do need to get some new grade 8 bolts, though.

Thanks MQ. I can't take credit for them. My friend Scott is pretty sharp with a camera.

Thanks.

Did the new hood pins from Poly today....they look and operate MUCH MUCH better. Got the bumper bolted down with some fresh grade 8 bolts. I'll be doing the turn signals, front upper JJ's, extended shock mounts, tie rod flip and button everything up under the hood next week. Then it's wheelin time.

Yeah dude, the more the merrier

I know it's not a super hardcore place or anything, I'm just looking to have some fun... I DO know that when it rains some of the obstacles will be hard as hell... so hopefully they have some rain a day or two before

I know I asked Bennettj, Hendrix, and Apex... none can make it at this time.

Once I get a cage built/added onto the stock cage I plan on making it out to the Badlands some time next spring/summer. I think I'll do what Lancetkenyon did... his is basically a heavily beefed up stock cage and I KNOW his has been used heavily... Once we get a house I want to back-half the Heep and redo basically everything, don't want to spend a ton on a cage.

Well, it looks like I'm about 75% in going on the 13th. It's a bit over 3 hours on google maps. That's a pretty good haul so I can't break anything. I'm not too worried about that, though.

EDIT: Tony, remember when I told you I might have something else going on that day? Well, there is a big, badass scenario paintball game at a local field that lasts the whole weekend. Hmmmmm, decisions decisions. Before Jeeps, I was an even bigger paintball nerd.
