I like the way you trimmed your fender flares. I am thinking about doing the same thing. Did you trim the inner fender too?

I removed the rear inner fenders.

In other news, I won't be getting to the Aussie tonight. So far this summer, alcoholic beverages have been taking precedence over Jeep-time. Is that so wrong?

Well, I went to remove my rear upper arms today to do some simple cleanup maintenance and discovered one of the heims was seized in the arm (while the other required no effort at all). After breaking a table vice and trying everything short of cutting the arm in half, the joint didn't move. Since it's not something that could be easily/cheaply duplicated, I've got to order a new arm and joint from RK. I'm PISSED.

So the upper CA joint attached to the frame or axle?

I run RK triangulated uppers that attach to a truss. At the truss end is the joint, which screws into the arm. My passenger side joint unscrewed with ease. The driver's side should have since it was greased with good **** before it went in but it's obviously cross threaded. That's the ONLY viable cause to be this seized. I bent a piece of 5/8" solid tube and broke a table vice. A 6 foot breaker bar (the badass bar) didn't do anything. The torch didn't do a thing so that leads me to believe it's cross threaded. I don't understand how that happened since I can unscrew almost every bolt on my Jeep by hand after the initial turn with a wrench. No biggie, I'll call RK on Monday and order a new arm. I just hope it doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

Man bro that sucks hard. So does that mean the jeep is down until you get a new one? Can you just put it back in at that length and drive until your new one gets here?

Yep. Throughout the hours of hell, I turned it 1/4 turn so it's too far off to use and won't go back. Not being able to drive the Jeep for almost a week is the worst part of it.

I dealt with a big vice today. I don't think James's will help but I'll bring it anyway.
