Thanks Mike.

The backstory--I went over to Mike's after class yesterday to give him a hand with the IAC and throttle body, which was dirty as all hell. Got that knocked out and then Mike suggested we go do some urban flexing since I hadn't had a chance to check out the AR and the new bump stops. Everything works great with no rubbing all around and as you can see, the body stayed nice and flat while allowing the axles to do their thing--one advantage to having both sway bars hooked up. The pictures aren't going to impress anyone looking for "crazy mad flex" but I didn't build the Jeep to be an RTI queen, either.

Anyone down for Badlands Saturday or Sunday?

I see you have the AR set to the middle setting. Have you tried out any of the other settings? I keep mine set at the second softest setting and it seems to be the perfect balance for everything I do. A little more roll on the street, but good useable flex offroad.

I haven't tried any of the other settings but I'd have no reservations trying the 2nd to loosest setting. The sway bar already feels perfect on the road and doesn't 'seem' like it will limit me before the shocks do. I'll test it out some more in its current setting this weekend. I just hope that I can get the Aussie and new u joints installed on Friday.

You can have "crazy mad flex" and not be an RTI queen.

::SELLING HALF OF MY JEEP::

http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f33/?uid=152304

Rear Currie 4" coils - 190 shipped. (They've been sitting in the back of my Jeep for mock up but won't work out for me.)

Hornblasters Shocker S4 horn set with some extras $210 shipped. (It is not OBA, just an accessory for OBA)

"LCOG" isn't cheap and it certainly isn't easy. If you think so, you are doing it wrong. If you aren't willing to put in the effort, don't label your build "LCOG". You are just a cheap ******bag.

I think once you wheel it you'll find you want to be on the second to last setting

Thats a definite possibility. Should be home for the summer Friday night sometime, current goal is to load my moms car up with stuff that morning, then be at Lemon by noon to get one last session on the lake for the wakeboard/waterski team before I leave for the summer, so what time I head home depends on how many of them want to ride. If history is an indicator, I will be leaving after dark . Either way though, I don't think I have any pressing things that need to be done this weekend and I STILL haven't wheeled with the locker or the skid, so I'm probably going to be down to wheel this weekend.

Pics look good. When did you get the half doors? Did you make them yourself?

I got the half doors at the end of last summer. They are one of my favorite things EVER. Mike likes them a lot, too. I just haven't had too many pictures with them.

I miss my half doors already. They were loud in the winter because the window would get stiff, and the cold air is so much louder for some reason. My dad and I are tempted to make a set ourselves. We will have to see this summer.

They are just the Bestop lowers. No uppers and no provisions for uppers. When I need actual doors, I like my full doors. If it's not pouring rain or really cold, I like the halfies. Since you have full doors now, I would recommend them.

I picked up a set of OEM metal half doors for real cheap. And I love them.

And like you said, no uppers. No plans for uppers. If I need protection I have my full doors. But I love running my half doors.
