You'll have to ask Conner. I was just making a statement, not advocating anything. I know he won't error on the side of excess.

Are you going to work at the place in the x-outlet mall off 69 or does Sherry have another lab in the area?

Thanks guys.....Will, you got it. Goofy location but it's a real nice setup. Element Labs actually bought Sherry and the name change will take place in January.

Does anyone have a good line on a black TJ hard top? I'd like to get another one. I'd even be willing to negotiate a trade (with some cash) for my Rampage frameless soft top.

I'm in a bit of a unique position. The JK 44 front I'm getting already has a bent tube and no knuckles. So, that will be the perfect reason to upgrade. I may even add Currie's forged C's to the ends of the new tubes. If I don't do that, they will be gussetted. Mine will use a 35 spline ARB and RCV shafts. From what I've seen from JK 44's under heavier rigs, this axle will have no issues with my 37" tires. It won't be a quick or easy build but when the axle is ready, it will be very stout.
Hope you don't mind my taking some liberty in where I respond to this.
You mentioned this in the latest derp 37s thread over in tech...

I'm curious how you'll solve clearance at the frame & drag link, on a right tire stuff right steering lock, given the JK width and crossover steering.
And I say that because I want you to figure it out so I can make mine better. The WJ knuckles with crossover needed a big frame notch to accommodate that, even still, that's a key player in what limits my uptravel. I feel like it might almost be better to use the drag link knuckle mount as a higher spot for a stock like inverted Y.

I'll definitely notch the frame rail but if push comes to shove, the front frame will go and I'll build a new one.

I like having 50/50 travel and a low height.....something's gotta budge when combining those two things with a drag link and track bar that high. We'll just have to wait and see how far things need to go.

Good to hear! With the trade of the rampage I thought you were going to strictly hard top.

I have been wanting to do this too. Sick of my softy and want a sound/waterproof solution. Unfortunately my cage is in the way currently.

Hardtop and full doors year round isn't bad. It gets hot as **** sometimes though. With all the rain we had here this summer, I'm glad it was on 24/7.

Plus the added security.
