What are your thoughts? Will your plans change depending on what front axle you find to match it?

Keep it up!
Stock 14 bolt shafts are 30 spline and larger in diameter than a 35 spline D60 or 9" shaft. He will need custom shafts with 35 spline for the 9" and the 14 bolt flange pattern on the other end to bolt to FF 14 bolt hubs. They will have to be whatever length is needed for the 70" wms-to-wms axle.

All I'll say is that it's a good thing you got over wanting flares. And that it's about time. lol

::SELLING HALF OF MY JEEP::

http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f33/?uid=152304

Rear Currie 4" coils - 190 shipped. (They've been sitting in the back of my Jeep for mock up but won't work out for me.)

Hornblasters Shocker S4 horn set with some extras $210 shipped. (It is not OBA, just an accessory for OBA)

"LCOG" isn't cheap and it certainly isn't easy. If you think so, you are doing it wrong. If you aren't willing to put in the effort, don't label your build "LCOG". You are just a cheap ******bag.

Ruffstuff 9" housing with GM FF14 bolt spindles. I didn't plan on doing this so soon, especially after spending the coin to build the 44 back up. But the price was very good and this is essentially the axle I wanted to build in the future. I'll have it in my possession to start building by mid-April but don't expect anything fast. This will be a slow axle build and I'll start thinking about the front in fall or winter.

Nice, might as well go shopping for something up front and your Jeep will be not only a stellar performer, but pretty close to bullet proof

Hmm, I found my post but your post is no where to be found I remember you correcting me on the 14 bolt being 30 spline though.

He got a mod to delete them upon request since it was a huge axle debate thing taking up pages of his build.

I can see that, but thats why I only posted the facts about spline count and size of shafts, now look, low and be hold the questoin surfaces again.

I had that entire conversation deleted not because it was lacking in useful information, but it was OT and filled up multiple pages.

Thanks Jason, I was aware it'll need custom shafts yesterday before ordering due to the different inner/outer spline cuts and count. I plan on going through Branik for the shafts.

One at a time, that comes later. But yes, a fab 9 housing with late model Ford ball joint outers will end up in the front.
