i have 4 days off this month, spending one of them at the badlands. dont think there is anything going on, but my jeep club is heading down and a buddy with a built land rover and his club will be heading there as well. seemed like a good day to wheel. plus i really want to see this jeep in person, the rear frame area looks sick

Ooohhh shut up. I've asked you plenty of questions.

But seriously GMBNT, here's a semi-accurate stock TJ setup I plotted a while back just because I was curious.

And just to give you some context, here's 2" springs

4" springs

And my current rear suspension--think about it this way. When you go up, that's your new ride height so you want your suspension to be back at 'baseline'. When just looking at the numbers, the stock suspension and mine are pretty similar.

I'm all about show and shines. The less wheeling, the better.

I'll just say this....if my Jeep is wheelable by next weekend, I'll be there. That's a huge stretch. It might be driveable. I've got next to no time to work on it this weekend or next week so the outlook isn't good. Working 70 hour weeks isn't conducive to getting this ****er done.

Man this thing looks great! What all do you have left to finish before it is wheel-able?

Took the day off work and put in 13 hours on the Jeep. By midnight, it rolled out of the garage.

Still have some buttoning up and cleaning to do. Pics will come then.

Good. I've been lurking around and quietly waiting to see the results.

And for anyone with highline fenders (or just no room for the factory washer fluid reservoir) that doesn't want to pay for Rokmen's kit, here you go.....I've been looking around for something that will work for a long, long time and this thing just rocks. I picked one up for $11. It's literally perfect.

That's one of those pieces that you buy even if you don't need it. I'll have to pick one up to make my life easier, later on. Nice find.
