I need to get this figured out too. Except my 12" travel shocks are 3.5" OD.

But you won't have issues with springs unseating.

Now that I'm redoing the frame, I can set the distance between the coil mounts to whatever I want, to an extent. I'll probably set them up for 3 or 4" Currie coils and run those with 12" Bilsteins...set up for 6/6. Boom, equal travel at all corners and no unseating. At least that's the plan.

To be honest I haven't even put too much thought or concern in the rear AR yet because I need to get the rest of the suspension figured out first. I'll add the AR last.

I'm sure it will be bad*** whatever you end up doing.
With coilovers it's easier to run the AR in front of the axle

That's were mine will probably end up. It would be cool to run it through the rear crossmember if using separate coils and shocks though.

OK guys, I could use some ideas for rear corner cut ideas. I've probably looked at 1,000 rigs today and feel like there's stuff I haven't seen. Radius? Flare-shaped cutout? Something else? I'll only have one chance and I'd like to love the cut I make.

I'm doing a radius cut on mine. I'm basically just going to move the axle to bump and use the center point of the axle flange to trace a line and cut. I'll hopefully have my armor on and cut before the end of the month (whole jeep done by then for that matter hopefully) so you can see how that option looks.

You could do Metalcloaks stretch fenders? I think you can do 4 inches of stretch and still have flares. Just an idea.

I don't think he wants flares, hence the decision to sell his Rokmen hi-lines with flare and get some without.
