That's awesome. If I was there, I'd try to drag my *** out early one morning to go heckle Greeny and Golic on their set of M&M In The Morning. Can't imagine the buzz around town.

Planning on going Friday.

My buddy ran into them at Kilroys (a bar) last night. Freakin awesome. Evidently, the Mikes are absolutely loving Indy right now.

Another one:

This is Meridian Street. Closed off to traffic due to 32 Indy Cars being parked right down the middle.

Awesome Build!

Pretty sure this build needs a Table of Contents in the beginning haha, I had to search for pages on the mid arm and TT stuff hah

I've looked for those recently.

145 for the beginning talk of the 4 link.

118 for the flat skid.

We'll see. I've got some stuff going on the first week of March so as of now, it's not in the cards. The Jeep has taken a back seat for a little while.....just been driving it and trying to determine where the stopping point is. I'm just not sure how much more money I want to spend on it.

Thanks man. Maybe one day I'll do that. I actually wouldn't mind a mod going through and deleting the random chit chat to help condense it down a bit.

Depending where you plan on doing your continued wheelin leave it alone, since it's pretty darn capable. Or if you are a wheelin junky like me then it's go big or go home. Second approach would be leave, this Jeep alone and built something suited for as extreme a wheeling as you can find and just use it for that. Takes a fair bit of coin, but if the terrain is there it's well worth it.

I am ready to see an "Imped buggy". It is plain to see you have hit the peak in your skill/knowledge level for your type of jeep. Lets see you flex that Imped brain around a BIG rig.

I hear ya and it's crossed my mind a time or two. I'm not ready to make the financial commitment to a buggy yet. Plus, I enjoy the challenge of letting the DD and hard trail components be mixed into one vehicle. That's how it's been from the beginning and that's how this rig will stay. For the time being, it's staying on 35's and the current axles. That could change one day but as of now, it's very relieving to come to the conclusion that the drivetrain and rear suspension under it are perfect for the tire size. The front suspension and steering is what's weighing on me. In all honesty, the front suspension works great as is. The steering is tight and precise and the thing drives and wheels great. But I'd like more clearance at the frame mounting points, more clearance under the tubes, and a simpler spring/shock mount setup.....along with a PSC box, pump, res, and ram.

I don't think I have. There's plenty more that could be done to this thing and that's the problem. I want to be done but I'm not content with it, mainly the subjects I listed above. A buggy won't happen until I'm content with this to the point of saying, "it's done."I just can't work on more than one project at a time....my attention span just isn't that good. I devote 100% to something and I refuse to start something else without being able to give it my all. The only items remaining on the list are a well-executed hydro assist setup, a beefed up axle housing, and 3 link. I'm happy with everything else and am content with calling the other 80% of the rig done.
