rmb2485's 2004 Wrangler

I've had my Jeep for a couple of years and decided its finally time to make a build thread!

Bought the Jeep bone stock in December, 2006...

Took it wheelin right away...

First up was a set of 31" Firestone Destination ATs. Also ditched the factory side steps and milk jugs...

Couldn't stand having a stock Jeep for too long, so I added a brush guard from JCR Offroad and some KC driving lights. Also made some home made discos and took it wheelin again...

Graduated from VT with my ME degree in May 2007 and got my self a BB with RE Monotubes as a graduation present...

The BB gave me vibes, so I decided a JKS MML and BL was in order...

Now it was time for some armor. Got radiator and steering box skids from ebay and a Warn engine skid from Northridge 4x4...

Next was a set of rocker guards from AtoZ...

Moved the KC driving lights to the windshield and installed some reverse lights...

By this point I'd moved home to Long Island, NY for a few months, so I decided some Tuffy products were in order...

Got a deal on a set of JKS discos from a member on here...

Finally got tired of LI and decided to give in and agree to grow up, so I took a job as an engineer, moved to PA and bought myself some bumpers from Nate's 4X4 with what was left over from my relocation bonus. Added some rear frame tie-ins from Besrk as well...

Wheelin at RC again...

Didn't like the look of the winch solenoids on the grill, so I relocated them under the hood, behind the passenger headlight...

Wheelin at RC once more, and how the Jeep sits today...

And some electrical stuff I did along the way but left out above...

Power locks...

Audio. Alpine head unit, Polk 5.25's in the sound bar, Polk 5.25 components in the dash, Alpine four channel amp in the center console, Kenwood powered sub in the rear seat...

I think that's everything I've done up until now. Next up is a tummy tuck, gas tank skid and engine skid from Rokmen, new control arms from RE and an SYE and CV driveshaft! 33" MT's and 3" springs are in the future after that!

Took me ten months, but I finally got all four sets of RE control arms used from ebay (found front and rear lowers and rear uppers in two months, then finally found front uppers eight months after that). They should be going in soon.

Also picked up a daily driver last week, so now I can continue to change the Jeep without having to worry about driving it to work every day.

Good looking build dude. Do you have any local trails to hit? I'm at school at Kutztown and my Jeep is about fed up of being on the road.

unfortunately, I don't know of any legal trails around here. I'm always up for a day at Rausch Creek though...

Yeah I have yet to make it up there. Its tough to find a day during the week that I could go, and its a two hour drive one way from home. I'd like to make it there sometime though. You'd think with all the land around here, and Hamburg close by, there would be some kind of trails.

Only if you sold it brand new on ebay about five years ago.
