It looks like the 99-03 had smaller caliper options and can be used on a 15 inch wheel but prob depends on backspacing

2000 XJ--- 4.6 stroker. Saved from the grave- everything swapped or modded. I hate this thing :)

I think its only with the akebono calipers you need 16" wheels. The other calipers I think you should be fine. Don't quote me on that, though. I would research it first.

94 Grand Cherokee 5.2 33in. Federal Couragia M/T's on Procomp Steelies, np231 swap, IRO Hack n Tap SYE, Carolina Driveshaft, 4.5 in. lift, RE front upper/rear lower ca's, RC front lowers, Ironman rear uppers, IRO 4.5 coils in rear, 3.5 and 2" bb (no isolators) in front, Bilstein 5100's, Clayton/JKS adj. track bars, KOR rad support and SS, Magnaflow/Flowmaster exhaust, clear corners, custom light bar w/ Hella 500's

Thats true. Akebono are the better calipers though. Im not sure about the difference in size but I know Akebonos NEED a 16" wheel. Got my parts list today from Kolak.

WJ Knuckles, Akebono calipers (found on later modles)

JKS spacers and steering linkage

Ill probably get new rotors from nick as well

FOr me though i will take a slightly less caliper to keep my 15 inch wheels which are like brand new lol and still get the one ton steering set up.. That would be awesome

Ive heard those other calipers are hard on rotors and can cause them to warp and wear badly. But yeah dude, if I cant find a cheap set of wheels then I might do that too. I like my stock 15's ..I dont wanna get rid of them..

3.75 Backspaced steel wheels work with the late WJ calipers with some grinding and NO stick on weights on the inside.

The WJ tie rod is a fair amount longer than a ZJ, from what I was told it wont work. Im not 100% sure about being able to use the draglink though.

JKS makes a tie rod (and draglink) that compensates the difference in length for the swap. Ill probably end up with that.

I painted the "vents" behind the rear glass. I dig it

Just primed 'em and hit them with some shake and spray bed liner
