The RED HULK build...

Basically, I have always love Jeeps. I always wanted a wrangler, grew up in a XJ Laredo. When I joined the military in 08 (Army National Guard) and went through all my training with HMMWV's, I knew I needed an offroad capable vehicle. So, of course I am not going to buy a Hummer <---Gay. So I along with my buddy in my unit who really fueled my Jeep need started looking for a TJ. I ended up with a 2004 TJ Rubicon. This was around Aug/Sept 10.

Got it with 61k miles, It came with the manual trans, the arb safari snorkel, arb front bumper and some fugly black tube bumpers came with it. The previous owner sold the hard top and door surrounds. But I got it for 15 flat which was the best deal I could find relatively close.

Then shortly before I left for Iraq I had bought some goodies:

lift kit off of clist: 6'' RC LA X-series for 1400 or 1500 NIB
set of 4 315/70 R17's MT Baja MTZ's roughly 1600
set of 4 Allied Rock-a-thon 8 Beadlocks 17 inch wheels about 800

Which transformed my jeep into this:

this was around April 2011 and it was the night of it being done installed...took like a week at a dude's garage who was my buddy's friend. Too much beer + not enough time + conflicted opinions + me knowing nothing about how to do it myself = a long *** time to put simple stuff on

After buying a **** ton of parts during my tour. Needless to say I had an early xmas waiting for me when I got home. I was super pumped to be home and I had all the goodies for my jeep. I am really glad my wife loves my jeep so much.

While deployed I bought:
First order, bout mid way through:
Red Half Doors Excellent Condition- around 400 shipped
Cobra CB - 115ish shipped

2nd order bout a month later:
Poison Spider BFH Trail Stinger front bumper -650 shipped
" Rocker Knockers -365 plus shipping but got for free for my BDAY!!! YEAHH!

Last order, 1 day before I found out we weren't going to have internet anymore :
Rampage soft top with header bar(still the have the header and don't need send PM if interested) -300 shipped
Warn Powerplant 9.5 Winch - 1262 Shipped
Warn Wireless Remote -150 shipped
Gen Right Rear Stinger Bumper w/ Drop down tire carrier, would've went with PSC but I like the idea of bolting the tire down rather than strap - 800 plus shipping
LiteDOT tail lights - 289 plus shipping

When I got back a few days before Thanksgiving I bought uppers for my half doors off of amazon for around -200ish I think

No pics of all the boxes because as soon as I was home I ripped through them right after I ripped through the ole lady if you know what I mean

I have ordered a few days ago two Corbeau LG1 red/black seats on a pure whim and followed that order with an order consisting of Currie Currectlync HD Steering (Ultimate was on back order), JKS 1.25'' Body Lift, JKS 1'' MML, IPF H4 Headlights and Fatboy Lenses, Riddler Covers for both diffs. All of that was about 1k from Northridge, not including the seats. Those were from a JF member for 430 shipped. Still need seat brackets for them and don't worry I won't be putting the BL on until I get AEV 3'' coils. My wife about flipped when I bought all that ****. She thought I was only going to buy the Currectlync...but so did I.

Nice man, do you have any closer pics of the beadlocks?

How do you like the 4.10 gearing with 35s?

No I don't but I'll take some when I get back home. I like them but they are heavy. If you are interested in buying them I may be willing to part with them. I really want to get some WE, Racelines or Spyderlocks. It's not bad, I'm not really in the powerband where I wanna be. I would like to regear. Can't decide 4.88s or 5.13s. I only want to regear once.

You got the 6 speed though, I would go 5.13's imo. I'm thinkin with the extra gear it would be nice.
