rubi flares are 2.5" wide whereas the sport or x flares are 2.25" wide, the 2.25" is perfect, tires stick out a bit but the trimmed look really compliment it. He doesnt mud so i don't see it being a big deal no offense i hate mud myself. my 2 cents get sport flares and trim them and the mt/rs will seem bigger lol

Stock TJ flares are 3.25". Rubi and Sahara flares are 4.25" wide.

These are the correct measurements. I have seen some mud, and I know the ORV parks close enough to wheel at have mud, but I guess I would just get over it. If I have to clean underneath, the rest isn't so bad. It takes me about 4 hours for a full proper cleaning. Hey... I might just do that when I wake up today, if it is nice.

Well, I was talking to Issac (LongJeep04) about the trade last night (thanks to Zach's build thread). He is local enough to not have to ship. I am still not sure what I want to do though.

Damn... why does everyone want Rubi flares so bad? Is it just because they are like 1/4 the price of new flares?

Cause in Maine we have to have our tires covered and with 4.0 backspacing, 12.5 are covered.

Any issues yet, or are you waiting on new flares before switching form 11.5 to 12.5?

I forgot to mention my tiny mod I did today. I set the fogs so that I could use them with the highbeams. It was as simple as pulling the relay and bending pin 1 180 degrees. Took longer to pull the fuse out than it did to bend the pin.

LOL, everyone says that about the rear wheel. I need to find a replacement I guess. Thanks for the compliment, and welcome to the site.
