Early morning at Red Rock Canyon.

Also got my parts last night for DaveysJeeps.com The packing was really good and shipping was fast. Any one looking for OEM Jeep parts, give Davey's Jeeps a call.

Good looking jeep! I did a similar console mod but used an 8" slimline sub. Mounted the amp under the driver seat, but want to move it under the dash to make room for a conceal drawer storage. What is the roof rack from?

I know I don't have much of a build thread. No plains of anything and not much money right now, except keeping it running well. Here is a quick update.

I had a vibration up front when I would hit bumps. Found out that my Rough Country front track bar tie rod end was worn out. So I replaced it wit a Moog one (#ES3097L)

Also I have a long drive form Nevada to Illinois, so I had my alignment checked by Big O Tires. Last time I will go to that particular store. They over tightened my tie rod adjuster bolts and stripped them out. Good thing I crawled underneath and was doing a bolt check before my drive.

New bolts installed.

All ready to go, here it is parked next to my buddy's Nissan Xterra with a Titan Swap and 35's

Great jeep...
Thanks!
Did I notice a difference with my cold air intake? I noticed 2 things; one is while driving at highway speeds I don’t need to downshift to hold 55-60mph for some hills. The other thing, the intake and/or throttle body spacer makes a slight whistling noise while accelerating. Would I do it again to another jeep, probably. But I would wait till someone is selling a used CAI just to save some money.

The jeep 4.0 is basically a small tractor engine. You won’t get much power out of in in stock form, you will get better results out of a stroker kit, turbo, or do a v8 swap. If you added bigger tires re-gearing you axles will help for more power to the ground.

My rock sliders are made by Currie. There Currie Rock Ribz, I don’t think they make them anymore. I got mine from Poison Spyder on a close out deal they were doing a few years ago.

I paid off all my credit card debt, and now I can start saving for stuff. But I have bought a few things while I'm here in Afghanistan.

-Currie Shock Mount Extensions.
-JKS OGS160 Track Bar Relocation Bracket.
-TJ Factory Sub Enclosure.
-Alloy USA Shafts for D35 (just for piece of mind till my axle build)
