Railed Rubicon

Well the other day a big rig ran me off the road and into a guard rail. So the insurance adjuster should be out Monday to give me the estimate and about a week later I'll get the check. Here's the pics stay tuned for the build.

Rear Currie 4" coils - 190 shipped. (They've been sitting in the back of my Jeep for mock up but won't work out for me.)

Hornblasters Shocker S4 horn set with some extras $210 shipped. (It is not OBA, just an accessory for OBA)

"LCOG" isn't cheap and it certainly isn't easy. If you think so, you are doing it wrong. If you aren't willing to put in the effort, don't label your build "LCOG". You are just a cheap ******bag.

I say go highline with it. It will cost more than Mopar parts, see if your insurance will let you do it.

I'm just taking a check from them and doing what I want. Don't need to go hi-line because I'll never run tires big enough to justify that. Where I wheel you need a little lift so an lcg build isn't really in the play book. I'll post what the bank is giving in a few days but i believe it will be enough to replace or cover the panels with some TNT lovin.

The pics don't do it justice. The fender is totally smashed and the rear tub seam is seperating. Well the money should be here by Wednesday. TNT corners and fenders with the 4.5" flare and rocker guards will be the first thing ordered. They will be painted black until funds allow for a body shop to get to them. I have 5 35" BFG MT's sitting in the garage just waiting for me to figure out which lift kit is going to help them fit under the heep.

I know James is going to say run the T&T Long arm. Looks somewhat nasty. Did it go to the truck ins. or yours?

That sucks. Here's to hoping the check is good. Did you get a quote from the most expensive shop in town? That is what I would do. My local bodyshop quotes what it takes to do it right with all new parts and they refuse to take anything less than that (they will knock of the price of labor some, but that is because it is an ins/ standard, my guy said he wishes he got paid the pries on the wall).

The INS sent out an adjuster. I didn't get enought to run that waxy TNT long arm. That is unless the rods of TNT can find a way to be benevolent on just the upgrade. Right now I have to get the cash and get the paint for the armor.

did you get a couple estimates to make sure they were paying you enough? most insurance companies try to low ball you without a couple estimates.

Good luck with your jeep build.
