Cut out as much cancer as i could and used a piece of stock metal with some bondo to patch her back up



Sanded, sanded, sanded, taped, sanded..



Finally ready to apply the bedliner!

Used only 2 cans of spray-on bedliner all the way around.. can't even tell there was a hole in the door



Couldn't be happier with the results...

Muffler was leaking so I ordered a catback from performancecurve.com. $150 shipped! Flowmaster super 44 with 2.5" pipe



Old one was SHOT



Wouldn't have gotten it done without the air hammer





Well I didn't realize that the stock exhaust is 2.25" until trying to fit the 2.5" muffler inlet onto the outlet of the cat. So we had to make a makeshift metal 'gasket' and impact the clamp down. Gonna have to pick up a reducer and find someone who welds.



this is only temporary, as I'm looking to just cut that cat out completely and replace with a pipe that fits

Just ordered my high flow 2.5" cat from performance curve. Guess it's illegal to cut out the third cat? Oh well, should have it installed by this weekend

Plasti dipped the rims last night. Did it mainly to see if I wanted black rims with the lift (that's hopefully coming soon!). I really like it.

Nice work so far man! If you live in a state where they make you do emissions tests you can't cut out the third cat. It is easy to delete tho since it doesn't have an o2 sensor

Looking great. I am anxious to see where you go with this. What brand of spray bed liner did you use on your rockers?

I used the Duplicolor rattle can. Took almost 2 cans, I added a lot of coats since I didn't want it to chip. It's holding up strong

Picked up some 3.5 RC coils for dirt cheap on CL


After looking around I found some 3.5" RE leaf springs on Amazon for $108 ea..? I'm surprised Amazon has them, and I'm surprised they're so cheap. Gonna give it a try. I also found a pair of like-new 31x10.5 Baja Claws. I didn't find out until AFTER I bought them (for only $100) that MT doesn't make them any more. I emailed them and they told me the TTC is their tire that comes the closest. Am I going to have a problem with two like-new M/T in the front and two brand new TTC's in the rear? I might just sell one and use the other for a spare and pick up 4 brand new tires. Rubber is not cheap though.

Ok so I'll be moving from Chicago to Portland, OR in December. My priority right now is to make sure this b*tch can make it.
My plans are as follows for the next 2 months..

Rear disc brake conversion
3.5" Leaf springs
Shocks
Bar pin eliminators
Adjustable track bar
Adjustable LCAs
SYE + CV rear shaft
Trans cooler
63mm bored throttle body
Rear bumper w/hitch (and tire carrier if I can find one reasonably priced)
Roof rack
New hoses, serpentine belt, filters
New fuel pump (pressure valve is failing, takes a while to cold start)
New distributor (broke off the tapped hole trying to drill out the broken screw between the cap and the distributor. The cap is currently wire-tied on )

I plan on going a little higher once I'm settled into Portland, probably with shackles and spacers then stuff some 33s underneath. If you guys have any advice for this road trip or my build at all, let me know. I don't really have any friends who are into Jeeps (they love their ricers though) so the forums are where I get most of my information. Thanks!
