thanks...i added some perforated 1/4 inch hole 1/8 inch steel to the bottom and curved it up for a place for the tag on the stinger.will have pics tomorrow.
also found out the rims i got are correct thankfully..the guy took a 170mm spacer and drilled it out to kinda work for a 8 on 6.5 bolt pattern..well imho it didnt work and explains why he couldnt drive over 40 on the hwy lol..
so i will be needing 2- 8 on 6.5 2 inch spacers in the future..

well yesterdayi woke up and decided to replace a less than a yr old spicer u-joint,,after further inspection the unit hub bearing was a lil worse than it was a yr ago so i had to replace it also..what a night mare
i loaned out my breaker bar so had to compromise..i broke 2 1/2 inch ratchets and 1 click style torque wrench trying to remove the hub nut, that i put on myself a yr ago..so then i welded all 3 tools seperatly back together and broke them again..finally welded the 36mm socket on a pipe and got it off..so my 2 hr job turned into like 4 lol..but its done with new joint and hub bearing installed..
hopeing the deep tranny pan and gauge and motor mounts show up by next week too..
also when taking apart i noticed 2 of my tac welded caps broke loose and were spinning in the yoke..so i peened them on the inside of the yoke and tac welded the new one also..now i see the need for this much more than i thought before..good thing to do on a turdy5 i read

new daystar m.mounts yesterday, and tranny pan and gauge came today.i ordered a cheaper rubicon express since i hate skyjacker junk anymore, but they were back ordered so they gave me the skyjunker for the same price at like 100 bucks,so cant complain..i know the dealer has them cheaper but to much hassle.
now to decide if i should use a available service port in the tranny to install the gauge,or weld a bung in the pan..service port sounds much easyer to me
just need time to install some of the stuff i been saving ..almost got some 38.5,s today but it fell thru again..
hurry up next weekend
