the punishers ezgo build thread

well i have a build thread on my local clubs site so i figured id start one here from where im at now..tired of the road jarring my back from the 4 inch short arm lift and have decided to go long arm..
mostly for the on road ride, not that i need more flex,it flexs just fine the way it is but i wont complain about more flex..
i just started some brackets"thanks to tommyr,s build thread for giving me a push..here i go..
i got all the brackets and tabs from a 5 ft stick of 2x4x1/4 tube incase anyone intrested..first bracket done today..had the welder burning purdy good thankfully.

mocked up and marked the frame.

few pics of the new and improved snorkels i build and sell to a few local jeep buddys..theres actually 14 pieces in this snorkel to make it what it looks like, but it all kinda looks like 1 piece..a buddy has 2 of them and has had the hood under water numerous times and said it works great thankfully..

mocked up and installs in about 5 minutes with existing bolt holes.

air box i made for it.

i am totally happy with the flex from my stock worn out arms, and it has served me well..lets dance, haha

made a homemade belly up skid a couple months ago that turned out better than i thought it would have..ive bashed it a few times and it works great with 2-1/2 inches more clearance..

this is where i shortened my hitch and tucked everything up as close as possible to the tailgate for more clearance..

cut a small 2x2 hole in the rear frame to serve as a clean out since there was 5 lbs of dirt in there ..

the silver plate is the removable frame clean out area..it works for me,haha

made these ammo can holders and mounted 1 to each fender and can access thru the rear window real easy..they worked out good also..no rattles as long as you keep them full of stuff lol..

not a good pic but also made my homemade power tank bracket from aluminum but need a roll bar mount and a lighter tank someday..

my baby girl,,just turned 5 months in the pic..she keeps the bottom of the jeep clean, haha

made these rock sliders about 6 months ago..they work great and have 5x1/4 aluminum plate bolted the hole lenght on the inside for strength..as are the rear corners.

my harley removabke step i made for when the back is hurting..works good and fits beside the seat when wheeling.

hey thanks guys..camo,if you got the skills to get the material,do some cutting and measuring and get it all ready, i will weld up whatever you need no problem..its all the stuff in between that takes time and gas running around to get stuff that makes it hard for me..
kelly,i may get rid of the box,im not sure yet..im fixing to take it out so may as well get rid of it till my daughter is grown and gone anyway lol.
i love it,it works very good and dont rattle at all,and removes pretty kwik..

anybody intrested in it,, i like to trade..need one for under the seat instead..the one i have is like 700 bucks new with the brackets and the dividers are just under a 100 bucks..i guess its worth 300 or a trade i need,up or down in price is fine too..
need a car trailor,haha
d35 30 spline locker would be cool
any 8.8 lockers or 4.56 gears.
axle brackets..
some good tread 35 inch tires etc...i better shut up..

its not permanatly attached..it just slips over it and then put it back in the jeep..i have pics of a folding one that stays folded out of the way when wheeling but never finished it..you could just drill a hole in the slider and bolt it there if a person didnt mind the tall leap in the jeep..
