James, in that seat cover video I love how you said "I'm not a big fan of this"

I have been caught in a few off camber seat puckering situations and been quoted saying that same exact line thank you for letting me know I'm not alone

it might be the double triangulation of the rear but mine wont flex that much in the rear. mine transfers the extreme load to the front suspension. i can keep up with you in the front - at a loss of wheel base.
Yeah, it's the triangulation. It's nice. Long arm rear, mid arm front. DO IT.

I don't know how you would be getting that much travel with short arms, even with the loss of wheel base. The only reason I do is because of the radius front and the long *** shocks. I can almost sit another 35" tire in between my tube and tire at droop. If I unseat the coil I could.

"LCOG" isn't cheap and it certainly isn't easy. If you think so, you are doing it wrong. If you aren't willing to put in the effort, don't label your build "LCOG". You are just a cheap ******bag.

I will when I think about it and have time. It's not very high on the list of priorities. Lol

Thanks man. I appreciate it.

MCAI showed up today, going to put it on tomorrow. Got some other goodies on the way as well. Little secrets, nothing huge. Once the tax check comes it's time for a big one.

Didn't end up putting the mcai in yet. Took out the driveshaft to rebuild it, ran out of time. Will finish that up tonight. Hopefully Jerry will be able to wire lockers tonight. Going wheeling tomorrow with rod and gribbles. Should be a good time. Hopefully I can at least lock the front by tomorrow. Have an appt with the gear guy Sunday morning. I'm hoping he can tell me why my rear stays locked and fix it. Got a new set of windshield guards from genright today in the mail. They sent rivnuts for the top holes this time. We'll see how it goes. I won't be putting those on until after this week probably. Robert from Genright, who convinced me to give them a second chance, no longer works there. Brian is taking care of me, albeit against his will. Well, maybe not against his will, but I definately didn't feel any sincerity there. Anyways, fit or not, these windshield guards are going on.

Just wanted to say I've really enjoyed your thread! Great work, and beautiful Jeep! Impact Orange is my favorite color, but don't tell my jeep I said that

Thanks. I wouldn't have ever gotten it done if it wasn't for my friends. rkates was a huge help with the suspension, recoil101 has helped with wiring, imped4now and gribbles have turned wrenches here and there, and hot_rod_hooligans has helped more than anyone. There have been a lot of wrenches turned, and hours put in. There's only more to go though. lol It doesn't seem like it ever ends.

And I agree, Impact Orange is the best color.

Update: Windshield guards are here, they look to be a better fit than the previous, though I won't be bolting them on until it's warmer outside so I can paint them first.

Got the vent nipple thing in the rear axle. That was no easy task with the truss in the way. Ran the breather all the way up to the hood. If that **** leaks all the way up there, there won't be any fluid left in the diff. lol

Driveshaft is apart still. Waiting on Rod to get back so we can finish that up.

Jerry canceled on me tonight, so the front locker won't be wired for tomorrow.

Back to work.

You'd be surprised man......I have all my breathers ran up under the hood. I still get a decent leak from the rear once in a while.

You ran the rear axle vent all the way to the engine comp?? Why not straight up the role bar out back?
