awsome rig james. Thanks for all the info throughout your build. I called and talked to Rod at TnT yesterday and he was great to work with. He gave me some other options that acually meant me buying less from them. He has me all setup whichever way we go (wife is pushing for JK now),(I am trying to convince her to let me keep the TJ).

That looks AMAZING in the light. BTW, passanger side moabs look so much cooler with the sunlight. Changes the look a little. Actually, the pic that makes them look best is the offset passanger side shot.

Why is that ugly thing still hanging off the rear gate. I would think it would be pretty easy to take that off, and put a bracket that holds two lights, one for the plate, and the third brake light.

While we are talking about lights, what are you planning for side marker lights. I know you mentioned putting a light in the front gusset for the tube fenders, but IIRC, you need a side marker too.

Your getting there. Can't wait to see the finished product.

No side marker required for Indiana - gotta love the hoosier state

He's putting his spare on, thats why the eyesore is still hanging off the back - unless I missed something

Yeah, he still needs to change the bolt pattern on the tire carrier to work with the JK wheel.

I'll fix that for you Rod. He has to get a different rim to mount it to the carrier. 6.5'' of backspacing is making the tirehang off the back of the bumper without mating to the carrier itself.

ZACH, DO YOU HAVE TO INVADE EVERY THREAD THAT I AM A PART OF?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!!

JK Zach.
James, ready for the next update. Are you throwing those new coils in today? Also, lucky you not needing those marker lights, I am not sure about NY, but since everything is so strict here, I would say we probably need them. Did you actually remember to call on those axles today?

Nice Jeep, I'm not really a fan of those wheels or the 4.5" flares but otherwise definitely a very nice Jeep, especially that paint job. Kind of looks like it's got a bit of a forward rake too but could just be the pictures. (Note: my nit picking is really rooted in a deep seated envy..)

NY? Stict?

I'd have to go ahead and say we're one of the most lenient when it comes to mods for our Jeeps. If I remember correctly, we only need a forward facing marker light, we have absolutely no laws regarding flares on a non-commercial vehicle, and have no real lift laws, does it get much better than that??

The new lift springs aren't a big priority right now, especially with things like wiring the rest of the lights, new tie rod, shortening the drag link, front locker, but James has Sunday through Tuesday off next week, so I think we are going to try to address a lot of these problems then. Not to mention I have a lot of touch up work to do on the paint yet, and still have a few things left to paint. Also need to get it in wax to keep that paint looking good, the paint is still raw right now.

It does have a bit of forward rake. The back sits about 1 1/2" taller than the front right now, and we are trying to correct some of that with a different spring.
