The tires aren't why he's going with longer coils, he has plenty of room. I don't want to say any more than that right now, not sure how James wants to go about explaining why.

That would be cool, there are a lot of us from anderson, Noblesville, and Indy area that wheel and wrench together.

Yeah, I assumed it wasn't for more room. But If he was looking for different style/ nicer coils, than why not get them in the same size? I'll just wait for James' answer

You're in the right state. I would venture to say we have one of the best jeep cultures out there.

Hey imped, (Conner) I tried to buy your bumper tire carrier. To late to the party. Getting a AtoZ Fab one. (not the $399 Crown Tech model).
Ordered the 399 ....sent it back (refused delivery).

Well, if I were running a stock jeep I could. Fortunately/Unfortunatly for me a lot of the work under my jeep is custom. Even the trusses and suspension were tweaked specifically for my application. I have no complaints at all about the tubes. They are awesome and I would suggest them to anyone, I just wish I could keep my jeep as low as I had originally planned. It's alright though. I'm making it work for me. That's all I can do. Thanks for the concern though.

"LCOG" isn't cheap and it certainly isn't easy. If you think so, you are doing it wrong. If you aren't willing to put in the effort, don't label your build "LCOG". You are just a cheap ******bag.

Didn't see this until now. Sorry, I am on my phone. I need the different size coils because of the massive rake my jeep had. That winch and winchplate are heavy as hell.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone. I appreciate it. I'll have some more updates tonight, maybe tomorrow morning. Depends how it all goes. Looks like I have to get new shocks now too. I didn't even think about it the other day with all this other stuff going on but with the new coils my shocks are to short. Blah. Any suggestions on shocks? And don't say coilovers or remote res unless you can find me some dirt cheap. Lol
Just now coming out of the closest... Oh that didnt sound right. I'm done!.. typing not drinking

Why not get a 3" coil with a stiffer rate, or are you planning on cutting the AEV down? I would have stayed at the 2.5" is lift since it looks like a great height for those 35"s. I mean, you could get 37"s with a true 2.5" lift, so I would think the longer coils need bigger tires to fit better.

Let's wait until it's rolling and the springs have settled to decide what it looks like

It has absolutely NOTHING to do with how it looks or how it rides or how tall of coils he wants or anything of the sort you are mentioning - - it is all about clearance (not tires) - I'm not going to break it down yet because he needs to do that so it gets said properly so no one gets butt hurt. There where no mistakes, just simply doesnt have proper clearance with the 2.5" coils, especially up front due to all of the weight.

As was said earlier, this is a custom application - and unfortunately when you arent working with bolt on products, it doesnt always turn out how one hopes or plans.

I am sure James will add to this, once it is all finished, and probably correct some of the things I've said.

Well... I am really confused then, I fully understand that it is a custom application. I guess we will have to wait for Jame's to post up pics and explain the clearance problem exactly. I am assuming it has something to do with the axle mounts for the JK axles.
