Eat. Sleep. Jeep. Repeat. That's all it's been. Too tired to update tonight. Another early/long day tomorrow. Cross your fingers. I just might be driving it home tomorrow night. LOTS of pics coming. Stay tuned.

Been working like crazy the last couple of days, tires are mounted with airsoft BB's, truss's are welded up with the exception of the shock mounts, front axle is bolted up to the arms, rear coil spring relocators are in, and we finally got the tie rod ends. Yet to do: machine knuckles for 1 ton rod ends, reassemble the front axle, reassemble rear brakes, bend rear brake lines, cut off and weld on new upper track bar mount, weld up shock mounts, install front drive shaft flange adapter, finish installing rear axle, adjust all control arms to length, do steering alignment, bleed brakes, and I'm sure there is more that I'm not thinking of yet. Once work slows down a little we may have time to post all the pics, but not right now. For now it's sleep time.

Wow, you guys really got a lot done.
James, like my sig says, it is either a joke or sarcasm 90% of the time. Get some sleep, be well rested. Can't wait for the pics. I am also surprised that you guys are getting the axels in already, I didn't that that was going to happen yet.

James is lucky that the Jeep Gods' favorite color is Impact Orange. Therefore, things will work out just fine. |

Sorry for the lack of updates. I'll post as soon as this hiccup is figured out. I'm really unhappy right now and want to get this figured out before it seems as if I'm badmouthing anyone. Bear with me. Hopefully this gets resolved today. I'll get some pics up after work tonight.

I'll help out a little for an update, it's sitting on all four tires but we still have some bugs to work out with the suspension. Otherwise, we are waiting on a tapered reamer to show up, so we can modify the passenger side knuckle and pitman arm for the new 1 ton steering(that isn't supposed to be here till Thursday some time, so thats the largest hang up), still need to route the brake lines on the rear axle, hook up the rest of the brakes, bleed the brakes, weld up the shock and sway bar mounts on both axles, need to do the rear outboard kit yet, hook up the flange adaptor for the front drive shaft, and get a measurement for the rear drive shaft.
I'll let James tell the rest of the story. |

James, make sure you are eating. At this point in my build (when I realized the truss was welded on at the incorrect angle), I concentrated solely on the jeep and not my own health. By this point, I had lost 10 lbs and was almost to insanity. EAT and give Megan some lovin every night.
![]() But seriously, everything will be fine. At least you don't have to cut off one of your beautiful trusses due to stupidity. |
