Apex, I don't want anyone to break either, while some of our guys trailer thier junk, most of us, myself included,dd our **** the next day. Even if you don't want to do the hard stuff, the trails at redbird are very clearly marked, and there are a wide assortment of trails to choose from.

We've got plenty of time to figure this all out. I know I'd love to see the Badlands atleast once. But Redbird does sound pretty wicked too. Like I said before, I'm down for whatever goes on on that date.

Sounds good FWIW, Will and myself both DD our jeeps every day, to and from the trails. We dont plan on breaking anything either. But remember, thats a possibility in this sport.

Shakamak does have full service cabins too - bathroom and kitchen, sleep 6 as well. Just on the other side of the park by the lakes.
Redbird is a different beast, actually i've only ever seen a couple of breaks there, now, not to say there wont be, but more likely is a few new body modifications or a flop I'll post a video of our trail in a minute, you guys wont be dissapointed in James selection

Oh I know that full well, I just play to my vehicle's limits. Which have been changed and are unknown at this point in time I play hard, but I tend to be a touch softer when I'm that far out.

Apex - You have nothing to worry about. I would be running the least capable rig in the group hands down. 33s and only a locker in front. Thank god I have some wheeling experience to know when to bail. I might just be forced to make some upgrades now for this June run. My jeep thanks you James!

Last summer I hit Swiss, WV. Windrock, TN. Uwharrie, NC (and did daniel trail). And Harlan, KY. I'm not all that worried...but I think it'll be a good idea to do something about my stock d30 with these 35"s

Redbird got any rocks? I mean ROCKS. Thats what was so appealing to Badlands. Looked like they had a decent amount of them.

gribbles - Those deep woods trails look badass! Looks like a great time and great to see some good trail markers.... something the Cliffs and Badlands could use!
To be honest - I'm on 33's and I know my limits. I have seen more breakage and carnage at the Cliff's tiny terrain park then at the Badlands. As long as you guys know the park and can lead us, it will be an awesome time.

I also prefer rocks over hillclimbs...but that's just me.
I know it sounds counter intuitive to what I was saying before, but I have more fun in rocks

I agree about the rocks, I love playing in em - there are a few really good rock gardens at Redbird. But there is something about Redbird though - the trails are just more thrilling - after all, isnt that why we do this?
Badlands has a quarry, which is a blast and has some great climbs in it, but aside from that, the trails get boring real fast - you can spend an entire day on only a few trails at Redbird and NEVER get bored.

Mike, that's very true. But we've been to the Badlands how many times? For those that have never been there, it's pretty damn fun for a day or two. No matter where we go, I'm looking forward to this.
