I've already decided the Detroit needs to go in the new axle, it's not exactly the most desirable Detroit, since it's for 3.55's, and No XJ owner wants to downgrade to a LP30(a bent one at that), or pay big money to have one installed in their near stock Dana 30 when they can just get an Aussie.

Besides, I paid a lot of money for that damned thing, and I know I'm never going to get anything even close to it back, so I might as well get as much use out of it as I can. Though I am curious as to how the Jeep will perform without a locker up front, I put the tires, lift, and locker in at the same time. Until then I was on tires that weren't much better than James' beloved Land Terrains.

The friend in me wants you to still have a blast wheeling. The ******* in me will laugh when you can't do as much as you could before because it just might knock you off that high horse. The friend in me knows it will make you a better driver though so I'm glad for that.

::SELLING HALF OF MY JEEP::

http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f33/?uid=152304

Rear Currie 4" coils - 190 shipped. (They've been sitting in the back of my Jeep for mock up but won't work out for me.)

Hornblasters Shocker S4 horn set with some extras $210 shipped. (It is not OBA, just an accessory for OBA)

"LCOG" isn't cheap and it certainly isn't easy. If you think so, you are doing it wrong. If you aren't willing to put in the effort, don't label your build "LCOG". You are just a cheap ******bag.

And thats the big reason it's not high on the list of priorities right now, I want to see what the difference is. I won't put the locker in the new axle until I can get at least one trip to the Badlands in.

Depends on the job. I lose 6-8 corpsmen every cycle to Afghanistan now. That's just one clinic. Then throw in humanitarian missions like the COMFORT just did in Haiti & we're constantly stretched thin!

Lol, it's not that I didn't know when. It was my first time wheeling with the jeep built. I could rarely use 4lo before because I always needed the wheelspin of 4hi. I'm learning to drive my jeep all over again. It's just the tiniest bit different now if you hadn't noticed. Now would you bastards get back on topic.

Rod, cry about the navy elsewhere. Start another build thread for it or something.

Fine.

I picked up the Rancho MyRide system quite on accident on eBay. It was one of those "bid because you never think you'll win" things. Well, I DID win, and I got it for pretty cheap. So in the end, whatever. It will be cool. I had originally wanted to do the analog one, but I like the idea behind this that much more. I like that it's less conspicuous.

Time for work.
