yeah, if you were up where i am, you can find LJ hard tops for around $700-800 ish. by the time you get all your fiberglass, resin, new windows.... yeah.

go ahead and use all the pics you want, just try not to make me look too bad.

Well, what i've been thinking actually, doesn't require new windows per say, but it will actually look like it does have the... wait.. pause... just brainstormed a new idea. it just might work a whole lot easier as well.

Today I finally got a chance to use a shop and weld up the body (yesterday didnt turn out like I planned. waste of a day) It turned out pretty well, still needs a touch up in some places. Couldn't work on it too late cuz I have a date tonight

Here's where I'm at now.

Ha like my mobile shop? (workin on a flatbed trailer.) I used a 120 grit flap disk and removed all the paint and undercoating within 1-2 inches of the edge of the metal.

Eugh. Comp is actin up, pics will be on next post.

Then I got It aligned at started welding! I like how it looks

Now I know that these might not be very pretty but this was my first time welding this thin of sheet, I thought they turned out okay.

I know it seems like it hit a brick wall recently but its because of two reasons- I found a really super good deal on fiberglass cloth on ebay, and because I bought it online, I am still waiting for it to get here so I can do the top. - and #2 . I've been juggling xmas shopping and saving up for the holy grail in the Jeep world (a 1977.5-1979 Ford F-350 front HP D60

) Because I will be switching over to 8-lug 1-ton axles instead of my 1/2 5 lugs. I will be using a GM 14 Bolt in the rear as well. Updates soon! thanks everyone.
