I got my last box of parts today!

TEN Factory alloy axleshaft sexxxiness!

They came with these parts, but I'm not sure where these are supposed to go?

And I also got axle tube seals to go with my new axles.

Those may be the dust covers that go on the backside of the unit bearing?

Honestly I have no idea... they are larger than the axle tube seals, but I don't remember them when I replaced my unit bearing.... My Jeep already had axle tube seals on it when I got it, so maybe they're for the ends of the axle tubes if not running tube seals?

Hey Steve!

I don't remember which rear axle you have in yours, the D35 or the D44? If you've got the D35 I'd recommend the Superior Axle and Gear super 35 kit.

Hey if your going to buy Steve a set then I want some too!!! LOL! Had to come check up on your build and growing parts list. This damn job is killing me with hours, my jeep time has become, well non-existent! And yes those little cups are for the ends.

Oh and since you got jumped on in my thread() over the axle talk, how's yours holding up? I'm getting my Christmas gift to self the week after Christmas. NEW WELDER BABY!!!!!!!!!! I'm so happy for that one. Mine has officially crapped out! So that being said as soon as I get some time () we will re-weld the axle mount for the johnny joint, and I wouldn't mind welding in a gusset on at least one side, but I'll leave that up to you. I would feel better about it if we did though.

Have you ever welded a gusset before?

I Know, that was funny though! Kinda falls into what we had spoke of earlier, maybe, maybe just a bit of it anyway.

Lol! Nice try! I have to drink cheap beer and eat ramen noodles just to afford to buy my own Jeep some parts, lol!

I still have many more parts to purchase, the next round of spending will be after I get my income tax refund. I don't spend much time working on my Jeep either, I haven't really done anything to it since we installed the front control arms and the passenger side axle housing joint. At least we're both working though I'm still confused about those rings though, when you say they're for the ends, where exactly?

That was funny, lol! My axle is holding up perfect, no issues at all.

I plan on running this kit from UCF on my HP D30 build: http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f43/n...ystem-1288314/ so rewelding of my axle won't be needed. I just need to score some new ball joints and new wheel bearings, the truss, and the Currie JJ's and I'll have everything I need to put my new axle together.
