I just got an Email confirmation that my Savvy order has shipped! That was really fast!

I got my Christmas bonus check today, so now I'm shopping around for parts to build my HP Dana 30 front axle.

Here are the parts I'm considering:

http://eastcoastgearsupply.com/i-126...it-master.html

http://eastcoastgearsupply.com/i-713...seals-red.html

http://eastcoastgearsupply.com/i-713...tive-gear.html

http://eastcoastgearsupply.com/i-504...ker-27spl.html

http://eastcoastgearsupply.com/i-159...shaft-kit.html

Plus I plan on new Spicer U-joints, and Timken Unit-Bearings, and swapping my Currie axle housing Johnny Joint kit onto the HP axle.

Does anyone see any reason that these parts won't play well with eachother?

Thanks!

I'm already geared, but the LP D30 gears don't swap into the HP D30 so I'm going to need new ones. I'm waiting to hear back from the ECGS rep on this forum, but I think he went home for the evening since he hasn't replied to my PM yet. I'm hoping he didn't sign out for the whole weekend, because I really want to get my parts ordered soon.

I have been thinking it over and I think I am gonna stick to my current axle until I do a big upgrade. But that could change tomorrow..

I agree, I never know exactly which way I'm going to go until I'm actually clicking the order button, lol! I was planning on doing a super sick build on my HPD30, but there are so many other parts I want all at the same time, so I've decided on trying to build a bang for the buck axle instead for now.

So Chase, the ECGS guy hit me up through PM and I worked out a killer deal with him for these parts:

http://eastcoastgearsupply.com/i-126...it-master.html

http://eastcoastgearsupply.com/i-713...seals-red.html

http://eastcoastgearsupply.com/i-713...tive-gear.html

http://eastcoastgearsupply.com/i-504...ker-27spl.html

http://eastcoastgearsupply.com/i-159...shaft-kit.html

I don't want to say what I payed, but it was slightly better than 10% off for the whole order, including shipping. Thanks Chase!

I don't remember what the Highlander music sounded like, for some reason when I try to think of it all I get is Dropkick Murphy's shipping up to boston lyrics, lol!

As far as my HPD30 being immortal, I highly doubt that, but it should be a fair bit stronger than stock, and it should live ok running 35's considering the LPD30 in my Jeep survived for over 5 years running stock shafts and 35's. As long as all the parts live long enough for me to wheel them hard while I figure out stage 2 of my build, or if I'm going to buy and build something else completely, then I'll be happy.

Ok, so I got some really negative feedback on some other forums about Nitro Chromo axleshafts, and the Motive gear ring and pinion and master install kit. So I canceled my order and decided to go with TEN Factory axleshafts and TEN factory axle tube seals.

http://www.rubicontested.com/TEN-Fac...27-Spline.html

http://www.rubicontested.com/Jeep-Ax...nd-JK-RED.html

I still plan on running the Spartan front locker, but I'm going to go with USA/Standard gear for the ring and pinion gears, and I now plan on going with a Yukon master rebuild kit for my HP D30 front axle.

I already ordered the TEN Factory axleshafts and the tube seals, but please feel free to stop me before I order the locker/ring and pinion/master rebuild kit.

Not right away, but maybe in the future.

Wow, that is very unprofesional. Especially coming from such a large vendor. I would think very seriously about stopping payment.

Any vendor that answers inquiries with that is gay, is pretty immature and I would have serious reservations about doing business with this person. Also quotes are a means to earn your business and not an implied business transactions. So go buy your stuff from a reputable vendor.
Oh yeah when you complain about a vendor take his name and address etc out of your signature line.

I feel like an idiot now!!!

I got my parts from Chase today!!!! It's wierd, because there wasn't an invoice inside the box either, and the part of the label that says who the parts are from was carefully torn off the label.

EDIT: I just recieved a PM from Chase, His wife had a baby girl on Tuesday, and he's the only one that checks the forum for PM's. I also got an email from him just now with an invoice and tracking number.
