Hahaha, awesome story thus far, thanks for sharing. I've done the same with cameras... But now I know what I like and what I need and use--hope you are there too!

It belongs to one of my coworkers. He's kinda special sometimes, lol! He wants to sell it, his wife wants him to sell it, but he doesn't have any clue how much he wants to sell it for. He owes 5 grand on it and he say's he wants to sell it for enough to pay it off and have enough money left over to buy a small beater car. I don't know what kind of price he's looking at for beater cars so instead of throwing out an offer I'm just waiting to see where he goes with it. I don't want to rip him off, but I don't want to buy it unless I get a good deal on it either so I figure it's better to wait and let him come up with the price. I have to work with the guy and I know he'll have sellers remorse if I end up with it and he has to see it after I switch all the parts off this build onto his old Jeep.

I've seen the prices of good camera equipment, it's more expensive than Jeep parts are!

Love those RCV's. I just installed a set on my front axle. I have not had a chance to beat on 'em yet.

It's hard to tell from the photos, but it looks like the 12point bolts on the knuckle will rub on the boot. Is there enough clearance there? I know I had to spend some quality time with the grinder to make sure I had enough clearence with the boot.

Only one of the bolts on each side barely kisses the boot. They're the bolts that came with the RCV kit and if ECGS was ok with the fitment I'm not going to grind on them. If I notice any significant damage to the rubber boot, I'll email both companies and see what they recommend before doing anything.
