Project Undercover

Warning this may be a slow and boring build thread as I have my main offroader to finish up.

I bought this silver 2004 TJ Sport this week. 53,000 miles, automatic, 4.0. This is my family car/daily driver now as I've sold my 03 Xterra. Gonna be interesting with two kids but here we go...

I don't have anything special planned for this TJ but I want a record of what I've done to it. It will remain stock height because it's main and probably only use will be on pavement with an occasional trip to the fishing hole.

My early plans include all the skids I can throw at it, bumpers, rockers, front lunch box locker, maybe some improved steering, maybe antirock, winch, etc. My main goal will be to improve it while not messing with the driveability.

If anyone has suggestions or some something similar please link me to your build or suggest here. I'll add better pics later. Thanks!

So far I've removed the front jugs, removed chrome grill inserts the po had installed, installed the correct speedo gear for 3.73 +31's.

I've ordered a replacement subwoofer and a black gas filler bezel. Po had installed a chrome one. Ugh
