Well i talked to my buddy at the body shop and he said hes not affriad to do it. He was just gunna buff em up and paint over it...the risk is that if i chip the paint, its chrome underneath.

Today I'll be working on my axle shafts and replacing the boots i tore open. Does anyone have an idea on how to prevent this? Can I buy aftermarket ones that are stronger?

Wow mopars a rip-off on some of their stuff...300 bucks each for new axle shafts and i found some new ones for not even 100.

In the mean time, i thought id throw up a pic of my old jeep...which is what was replaced by this one since my parents only let me have one.

I FINALLY put my rockrails on. The guys from 4xGuard couldnt get me an EGR module so i got refunded the money and bought one straight from AEV. Not to happy about the service i got with them, but at least i got everything in the end.

Heres some pics..

Well im 17 now. My grandmother past away last fall leaving quite a bit of money, some of which was specifically set aside for a new vehicle. So i picked up the 06 GC...from there I have just worked my *** off and saved my money to put all the money into it. My dad has helped me a little bit on gas and insurance as well.

So im just wrapping up everything that ive purchased. I dont know what to do next.

Im thinkin either...

-Sound System w/ two 12" subs in a custom box and amped doors.
-Intake and Exhaust
-Tint the front windows to match the back
-Portable Winch
-Hi-Jack with the whole winching gear
-Lights on top?
-Rock lights underneath

Pick one orrr...
Got any other creative ideas???

I like the idea of the lights, by the way, nice XJ, I just sold mine to get a WJ and let the other half drive the WK. You got all the skids from 4xGuard didn't you? I'll have to go back through the thread now... Ummm, maybe later a rear tire carrier? I hear Saguaro might make one to work with the stock bumper. how bout a diff. cover like the Superlift ring? just superfluous ideas.

Yeah I got all my stuff from 4xGuard...there stuff is nice...but i just didnt get the best service. I actually like the superlift diff cover idea! That would be cool...ill add that on to my list. I wonder what it would look like with a spare on top like an XJ...

I feel like it may be too tall looking. I think im gunna make a light bar mount that attaches to my roof rack in my metal shop class. We'll see how it comes out.

But yeah we should definetly hit some trails up sometime, ive still got a few things to finish up on my jeep...i only took it offroading that one time cus i just couldnt resist, now im trying to wait till i fix the rubbing in my fenders.
I don't think that Wheelkate is private. From what I heard people were shooting back there and somehow a stray bullet got lodged in a nearby building.

If you guys want to go wheeling some time let me know, I'm in Houghton for the summer.
