for like 10 bucks more a wheel i coudl have dc's??? I dont know. So many people have plain polished wheels around here that is why i got the Dcs the first time. They were different. Now there are 3 other jeeps in town with them but i that isnt much compared to the regular alloy ones with holes or the black steal wheels

one slider is sandblasted

These puppys have some awesome powercoating. Sand blaster wouldnt touch it!! I guess im just going to rough them up with some sandpaper and spray them

Oh and for those of you that have never used one of these, they hurt...alot

oh so that is it for now. Im tired and sick of wires. I started feedingthe wires for the new guages and stuff and didnt like how it looked so i started cutting. So basicaly everything i already had wired isnt anymore lol. I hate sloppy loose wires. Tomarrow im going to go to the truck stop and by a new cb cable and antena. i figured i might as well fix that wile i had all the trim apart. hopefully ill have the wiring all finshed up by tomarrow night. also have to buy a relay for my fan override switch. I still dont know where im going to mount the locker switches. It has to be somewhere in the center counsel. I dont know. Ill figure that out tomarrow.

side note: after the pics i took a rag and cleaned up all the mud on the trim pieces and washed down the dash and stuff

Ok so here is what i did today.

Got out of work and went to radio shack. Found the relay i needed in about 3 mins. spent the next 25 mins in line. Im not kidding. When i got there there was one couple in the store and me. Thats it. 2 sales people. So one guy is helping this older couple (about 85years old) and while i got my relay another lady come in with broke camera and the other sales guy help her. So i walk up and get in line. The one guy was busy calling in a return on the ladys camera and the other guy is trying to check out the old people. You guys wouldnt have believed these people! they finaly get checked out and desided they want to return batterys for different ones. Ok, then they want to see a blackberry in the displace case. So they guy hands it to them. He starts some pitch about how that phone has more computing power than it took to get a space shuttle in the air. Im not kidding, the old guys hands where SHAKING as he handed it back. Like h was going to hit the wrong button and end th world or somthing. So anyways i stood there for a GOOD 25 mins waiting. then i drove al the way across town to the truck stop. picked up a 3 foot wilson fiberglass antena. a adapter and a 18 foo cable.

So i got home and made a sweet mount for the antenna on the hood. It was a bracket the wrapped around it kinda. I get it all atached and hooked up, shut the hood and it looked like crap. So i made another mount fo behind the tail light and it looks MUCH better there. So besides that i made the fan override swtich, installed and wired the gauage and panel. So tomarrow i have to finish it u. but my dad is coming to help so it will go fast. basicaly all have to run in the inside wires out and the out in. if you know what i mean. I have everything else buttoned up though. It is looking like a jeep again.
Oh and i got the 8.8 install kit today!!!

Works great, hasnt let me down yet. I think i will rip my jeep in half before i break it. (not kidding) I have winched several BIG trucks (older f250 powerstoke up snowy hill with a load of wood in the back, a fullsized chevy with a big block and 38 inch boogers that was burried to the frame.) I had to tie 3 other jeeps to the back of me to stop it from pulling me into him lol. If i had todo it agian id get the rope instead of the cable. I will be upgrading it at some point but i have other things to buy right now.
