Still waiting on the cb to arrive. Today I ordered the stuff to go with it from www.rightchannelradios.com and it was within $5 of what it would have cost through Amazon. Because rightchannelradios ships out the same day if you order before 2pm, I decided to get it all there.

I got a 4' Firestik FS, a teraflex passenger side taillight antenna mount, a mounting stud, a heavy duty spring, and an 18' coax cable. It was $109 shipped. I'm hoping it gets here quick, can't wait to get it all installed.

Yesterday, for the first time in 4 years, my son and I got to go to Morris Mountain off road park to ride on an open ride with the Ga. Trail Riders. I've had the jeep since last summer but just got the lift on it so my 32's had room to flex with my new disconnects on the front swaybar.

We had so much fun. It's hard to believe that the last time we were there my son was just a few months shy of 4 years old. Now he's about to turn 8.

Everyone we met from GATR was really nice and I'm thinking about joining. Here are the photos I was able to take:

This was the first thing we climbed and while it doesn't look like much, with no lockers it was pretty fun.

We decided to head over to the other side of the park onto the mountain and the jeep climbed right up. Great view up there.

Can't wait to go back in March. By then I should have the CB installed and maybe one other big item...rock sliders, winch, or some under armor. But definitely a front diff. guard. My son can't wait either : )

Jeep looks good and it looks like you're having a blast with it.

If you're still looking for black wheels with 3.75" BS and don't mind steelies, Cragar V-5s are a good choice. The 15x8 has 3.75" BS on a 5x4.5 bolt pattern. I just bought a set and couldn't be happier. I went from rubbing on my passenger LCA with 31s (with stock ravines) to no rubbing at full lock either way with 33s.

Congrats on the Jeep and congrats on being debt free.

Just ordered my rock sliders!

Bobby at Classic City Offroad in Athens, GA beat the best price I could find anywhere. The best part is it will only take 2 days to get here.

http://classiccityoffroad.com/

Now the only thing I need to do to finish what I'm doing for now to be ready for the Shamrock ride at Morris Mountain in 4 weeks is to get a diff guard for the D30, & possibly a steering box skid. This weekend I'll be finishing my CB install.

Finishing up my cb install above the rear view mirror on a custom bracket. I'm making it extra clean by running the wires through the windshield channel (antenna cable, external speaker, PA, power/ground, and an extra power/ground wire for when I add a rear view mirror with map lights). It's going to be sweet!

image-663051089.jpg

I should have it all finished up by tomorrow afternoon.

Here is the finished product on my cb install. I'm pleased with how it turned out.

The basic PA speaker I got from right channel radios turned out to be plenty loud.

Rock sliders will be here tomorrow. I believe I'll be ordering a 1.25" body lift an motor mount lift this week. Maybe that will allow me to get rid of the t-case drop...

Ordered a JKS 1.25" body lift & JKS 1" motor mount lift. I'm hoping this allows me to get rid of the t-case drop that I had to use for my 3.25" lift.

Rock sliders should be here today!
