To be honest I don't know if its a combination of the resistors + new flasher, or just the flasher... I'm just glad it works.

Got my Smittybuilt rear bumper installed. I had some red powdercoated D-rings from when I had my XJ, so I put them on instead of the silver ones included. The blue bungee cords keep the D-rings from rattling, plus I have bungee cords if I need them. Got that trick from a local wheeler.

Your jeep is looking good. How do you like the KM2's?

Thanks!

Love them. On the highway they are pretty quiet for an MTR (First set I've owned, but they make a nice subtle tone) Offroad they are amazing. They carry my little 2.5L with open axles front + rear to so many places. I've only been recovered once, and that was going up a pretty damn steep rock face where I needed lockers no matter what tire I had.

Looks good. You don't get bugged by cops for tire coverage?

Surprisingly, no I don't. Been running flareless for a few months now, and my town is known for cops being hardasses. I'm just gonna continue to run flareless until spring when I can build my tubes.

I got my answer : just an electronic flasher relay, these lights are amazing, I thank you a lot for the finding.

On another topic, the red shackles on that rear bumper give it a real nice look(you should do it in front too), are you thinking about adding a swing-out tire carrier to it one day?

Happy new year!

Those tires really changed the look of your Jeep.
I had those BFG's on a 2500 GMC and I loved them too.

Subscribed to a nice build

Excellent! Thanks for the info. I kinda hate that I bought (4) resistors now due to faulty flasher relay.

I love the red shackles too, I have an extra set now because my bumpers both came with one, so I'll probably drop them off to be powder coated. As of now I would like to stay away from a tire carrier, simply to keep weight low and centered as much as possible.

Damn it I thought it worked, but I don't know what happenedł and they don't work no more How much resistance did you add to the flasher signals and I just want to make sure that by blazer flasher unit you mean the EL-12 relay you replaced with one from factory for a blazer(doesn't sound right, sorry I hope you understand me)? did you play with the hazard relay?

I went to autozone and got an EL-12 flasher for a '94 wrangler, the brand name on the packaging was BLAZER. IIRC it was a purple and yellow packaging. I added one of the smaller resistors from superbrightleds.com to each corner (tailights/front turn signal). I think I ended up with the stock hazard flasher somehow in the end.

Let me guess, you tried the turn signals with the ignition on, but the lights were off? I thought the same thing then I turned my lights on and they stopped responding.

Seriously, I have no clue to what happened, I think I might have tried the hazards and got them to work but didn't take the time to try the turn signals which didn't work....

What do you mean by "large resistor"? Do you have a value in ohms?

Sorry, I was referring to the superbrightled's website. I actually used the smaller of the two, the 25ohm 25W resistor. I added one pair of resistors to the front turn signals, and the turn signals worked with the lights off. As soon as I turned on the running lights, they no longer worked (decreased resistance due to extra lights in parallel). I then added 2 more resistors to the tail lights (for a total of 4 on the Jeep) and then replaced the flasher. Finally did they work all the time.
