Eggshell will look a bit lighter but I'm sure it will look great!

I like the color choice. It will compliment the highline swap as they are both understated.

My LJ used to have the temp gauge creep above where I wanted. After being sure my radiator did not have mud in the bottom (something that I don't think you have to worry about), I put a hood louver system on and have never seem it go above the middle on the gauge since. And it stay cool while crawling on the trail too. I used the American rock rod louver but they are pretty much all the same. the only downfall is cutting the hood some.

06 WK 5.7 Hemi Overland - Daily
87 MJ Chief 57k original miles... getting built in the backyard. 37s, waggy axles, D300, 6 speed, etc.

Gone - 05 LJ on 37s, 79 FSJ Chief on 38s, 85 CJ-7 on 31s

Thanks for the info.

The Highline Hood have a Louver. it should do the trick. I will be installing a 2.5" Griffin radiator unit in the future.

The TJ might receive a a Poison Spider hood Louver to keep the stroker happy.

So, I've been thinking about RB, and I might "replicate" a t1 Jeep.

Stretch to 113~116 wheel base by cutting and extending the frame.
Fiberglass Front Highline Fender. (I need to make it less nose happy on the dunes)
Gr8top
1.25" body lift
2.5" lift
Savvy under armor
8.8 or Dana 60 Rear Axle (depends on what I will find in the Junkyards).
JK HP Dana 44 Front Axle (again, depends on what I will find).
4.88 Gear??

17 Inch steel Ram wheel s with 37x12.5r17

So, what you guys think ??

I'm waiting for the parts to arrive to complete the LJ. The shipment is taking too much time and it might not arrive before mid January.

In the mean time, I'm reading the FIA regulations for T1 spec trucks ...

http://www.fia.com/sites/default/fil...9-15112008.pdf

... In addition to few other documents....

http://www.fia.com/sport/Regulations/ccrallyregs.html

So far, I believe it is doable.

Thanks man !
Yeah, I guess I should start a separate project thread for it.

It got 22,000KM (aprox. 13,670 Miles) when I bought it. So It is very clean and rarely used.

I'm planning to finish the basic stuff within the next two weeks. I'm keeping it black to start with. I will paint later using Plasti Dip.

This build looks great, subscribed.

I never make the same mistake twice - it's more like three or four times.

Thanks, I'm ok and will fully recover in 6 months !

It was a front 180 degree roll over. I'm currently limited to my bed, I will take pictures once I see the truck.

From what I recall, I will need a new top, doors, windshield, glass, fenders, hood. And front sport bar. I might need more though. So, I have to wait and see.

Since I need to take some time off, I will also be doing a hemi swap.
